Ratings and reviews

I really just want antivirus/anti malware. I don't want to be nagged about being safe browsing, call filtering, SIM removal, locating my phone, and other stuff. I have those covered by other means or don't care. I don't want all of it served by one provider in any event. Besides, the notification icon only appears for me after running the app manually. I'm on GrapheneOS and won't be installing additional browsers just to tick a box. I don't want the integration either. I definitely don't want apps with access to call logs or contacts. I don't want to route all my traffic through your servers either, so I don't need the VPN option. It's too much in one place. Also wish rating the app actually meant rating it on the Play Store instead of just secretly in the app. Recommending the app is just a screenshot from that prompt. The links to contact support aren't working for me within the app. Overall, I like it and will keep it. I'm not so sure about once my subscription runs out.

Works great, a good addition if you have the main program on your computer. The PC version successfully stopped a shady website from opening my webcam when I was trying to watch Formula 1 for free. Weirdly, it didn't take the credit for stopping it, but Windows says the last time my webcam was accessed was years ago, so I'm pretty sure it did. Edit to say that the premium is super cheap, I paid £13 for 5 devices for a year. No need to get the top teir.

I use Kaspersky Plus. The VPN is fast, and features like split tunneling and kill switch seem to be functional. The antivirus has not failed me yet, and it makes me feel safer in my day-to-day browsing. I omitted a star because I wish that features like anti-ad and anti-tracker were available on the app version (they are available on the PC version). I'm also not a fan of the password manager; I prefer 1Password's autofill and UI.
