Topsoil is an original puzzle game where you grow plants and work your garden's soil.
Your goal is to harvest as many plants as you can before your garden fills up! Manage your garden by placing plants of the same type next to each other, then harvesting them together. The more plants you harvest at once, the more points you earn, and the more soil you turn over. If your garden fills up before your next chance to harvest, that's game over. Keep growing and you'll discover new seeds, tall trees, and friendly birds along the way!

Absolutely everything I want from a casual gaming puzzle app. So many puzzle games can leave you frustrated rather than relaxed, so this game is a rare treat to find. It's addictive and fun, and you only need to watch ads voluntarily in exchange for more plays, rather than having them forced on you in an ugly bottom-of-the-screen thing. I have nothing but high praise for this app.

Highly addicting little puzzle game. Intuitive, didn't need a huge fancy tutorial for you to figure out how to play and increases complexity enough for you to realize you have to think ahead.. a lot!

re-installed the game after the new update and there is no problems with it now. i enjoy the simplicity of the game and appreciate the developers working on it and replying to the reviews.

Really like the game, but I hate the quick add revenue gimmick that it uses. Watch an add for three plays or wait 24 hour to recharge your plays or pay $5.50. I can burn through my plays in 15 minutes. So I can play for 15 minutes every 24 hours. And seriously, over 5 dollars for an app. Few apps are worth that much. I would pay 1 or 2 for it, but not 5.

Sorry for the frustration with the ads not working! The latest update (1.2.8) adds daily recharging plays and should resolve the problem of ads not playing. If you can, please try it out and send me an email (help@topsoilgame.com) if you are still having issues or have any questions. Hi Xavier, between the daily bonus plays and watching ads you can continue playing as much as you want without needing to purchase anything. If you have a moment, can you send me an email (help@topsoilgame.com)? I'm interested to hear how you think I can better communicate this. Sweet, simple puzzle game. Not too deep, not too hard, just catchy enough. Sound design is especially excellent.
This app has been improved and now that it has recharging lives and the ads function, it's by far my favorite time killer!

Hi Erika, sorry that the ads are frustrating for you. You can also open the game once a day to collect bonus plays and continue playing without any ads. Let me know if that makes it better for you. If the number of plays can be increased then its better, but actually for now it's the best game I have ever downloaded.
Simple game with satisfying sound design. It has a nice and balanced central logic.
This game is beautiful and fun! Great for a little break here and there.

Hi Robin, in addition to the the daily bonus plays, you can also watch an ad at any time to get more plays, or you can purchase unlimited plays. Three plays should last you for between 15 minutes and 30 minutes of play time. If you have a moment, can you send me an email (help@topsoilgame.com) with what you think would work best? Thanks! A very nicely designed, simplistic, but still challenging puzzle game. The learning curve is very organic (pun intended) and it's rewarding to figure out the gameplay on your own through trial and error. It's also a very relaxing experience, thanks to the untimed gameplay and soft graphical style. Highly recommended if you just need a few quiet moments to focus on something light and fun.
The game is quite fun however the game stop after limited life and not regenerating anymore. The ads also not showing because no sponsor even though the wifi is on. So uninstalling for now as not really sure want to buy the unlimited one 🤔

It requires you to think a few moves ahead, and gives you the freedom to really plot and see how things will work. The mechanic is predictable but the challenge increases as you go. Overall a really solid effort, well put together. (Hoping you'll release new modes, or maybe something like a power up or some other ideas, but it's great as it is too!)
A serene experience! There's this great 'brain-clicking' moment when you first start the game where you don't quite know the rules, but you figure them out and go "ooooohhhhh!" And after that you corner yourself with some bad decisions which force you into some even worse decisions... It's probably what being captain of the sinking titanic would feel like actually come to think of it- 10/10
Great little puzzle game. The monetisation model is awful though. You can only get more attempts by watching ads or paying. 5 minute regen would be enough. Good potential, just needs some tweaking.

I've added daily recharging plays in the latest update (1.2.8) thanks to your suggestion. If you can, try it out and let me know (help@topsoilgame.com) if that makes it better for you. Fun game, but the number of plays doesn't seem to regenerate at all once the initial 5 are used. Although you can get more plays by watching ads, it would be nice if plays also renewed over time.

Charming and relaxing. I like the peaceful feel and natural colors of this game. The sounds are soothing. I find myself keeping mostly relaxing, cute games on my phone. I guess I get the most enjoyment out of them. 😊 This one's a keeper.
Simple enough to play that it doesn't feel heavy, but challenging enough to keep you coming back to spend a few minutes clicking around when you have spare time. Lovely colors, simple images.
If the free plays regenerate at all, it's too slow. Can't watch ads and didn't get to play enough to tell if it's worth the money.

I hate this game, simply due to the fact that you can't play it more than three times. Then when you try to watch a video to earn more plays, it says 'no sponsors, try again later'. I believe this is a trick to get you to pay. I was gonna buy it, until they pulled this shady trick. I am gonna uninstall Right now....

Kind of like 2048 in a way, except with plants. Only downside is there's a limited number of plays. Not too bad thought because there is seems to be a one time payment to get unlimited plays. If you have four bucks to spare, it's a pretty nice little game.
Quite expensive for crappy graphics and extremely repetitive gameplay. Maybe if it was 99 cents.
Fun game but it shouldn't be so hard to exit the game. Why no exit function?

Would you be willing to send me an email (help@topsoilgame.com)? I'd be happy to add an exit function and it would help a bunch to hear what you are looking for specifically (i.e. exit by pressing back from the menu, a dedicated exit button, etc). Absolutely love it. It's a simple slow paced game that's easy to understand and play.
Simple, well done time killer. Will definitely keep it on my phone 👍
