Just installed the app, but it seems broken. I am able to login, but cannot do much further, I do not see my books. And the Sign In text stays at the top. Also when I close and reopen the app, I need to sign in again. The app is completely useless for me.
Love the new UI. Neat and tidy. But 'days & hours' to finish the title at the bottom is pretty redundant. It is not very accurate and needless to say the speed of reader varies. The reading experience is excellent. Love the presentation. If the free classics were easy to find in a different section under "free titles" would be awesome! Thanks.
Update: Since updating the widget doesn't work properly. When I tried "leaving feedback" it opened my PayPal app. Subtle hint? Previously: Nice layout and easy to use. Would like a Kobo/Goodreads interface/plugin through :) Still no plugin. And why do the books have to be stored on internal memory? This was my favourite ereader but if it continues to eat up internal memory I'll have to reconsider using others.
So much better than the old app. I search here, then at my public library. If I can get a book for free I will. If it's a great book I'll consider buying. The older classics are so reasonable. I have the complete Charles Dickens, CS Lewis and Shakespeare all for around .99c each complete works. Great to have.
After waiting a YEAR for an update to come out to fix the problems caused by the previous update (which meant I had to uninstall all updates), I was finally able to get this March 2017 version. I'm happy to report that it installed quickly and smoothly, and my previous bookshelves (now called collections) reappeared. I really like the search feature. We'll see how reading goes. I have high hopes. Too bad it took so long, after intimations by CS that a fix was imminent a year ago, but this looks good and easy to use.
I have Kobo Glo HD. I have been using this application to purchase and read my books when I cannot bring my Kobo Glo HD. This is much better than the Kindle. I had been a kindle user. I love Kobo for customizations and the font weight. No regrets on switching from a kindle to Kobo. Kobo is tailored to readers, letting us decide on which format to read. Kindle does not give that options. Kobo is more personalized, not like kindle. The new version is better. I love what Kobo has done so far.
