Used to be amazing, now it's loaded with issues. The primary one being that when connected via Bluetooth, the audio stops when it automatically plays the next song. The song looks like it's playing but there is no audio. Switching tracks manually forces audio to play again but that is not practical while I'm working out, and a distraction when I'm driving. I'm switching to a different app after years of using the PREMIUM version of BlackPlayer.

The best music player. UI is beautiful. Highly customizable. Tons of features/options. My only issue is the way the app handles album art covers. The app will just take a thumbnail image of just ONE of the songs in the folder. Then it will use that SAME album art for ALL the songs in that same folder, although I have a mix of songs with different album arts saved onto the "ID3 tag" of the MP3 file. Next is I wish there was option to HIDE album art covers altogether because it uses up space.

This used to be my all-time favorite music app. For so long, I enjoyed p using this app to play for my customers, including equalizer settings to help enhance the sound for the space I am in. Within the last two months, the app not only began erasing my playlists, it kept bringing back playlists that I deleted a very long time ago. There were also occasions when nothing would play from the app at all. At first, when I would send an email in for help, I would get quick responses from the developer. Sometimes the advice was helpful. Per their advice, I put the settings on auto backup for my playlists, and anytime that I would create a new playlist, I would manually backup the playlists. However, my new playlists would continuously disappear, and playlists that I deleted long ago (including selecting the option to delete the backup file) kept coming back. For awhile, I could click on "restore from backup," and the new lists would return. One day, I spent 10 hours creating brand new playlists (and immediately backed them up). I worked hard on them, fine tuned the equalizer settings, and had playlists that made my customers happy. I worked so hard to create them. I opened the app, and all of them, except for two, were erased. Completely gone. When I clicked on "restore from backup," none of the newer lists came back; only the old lists from long ago that I deleted no less than 30 times each. All of the hours of work, gone. None of the backup files (that previously existed) for the new playlist were there anymore. Just old lists that I can't get to stop coming back, for whatever reason. I sent in two emails to the developer, including one telling them that I was trying to avoid putting up a negative review, and asked for help. Neither email received a reply, so I assume that they no longer care. I am saddened that this app didn't work out, because it was my favorite for so long, but now, I guess I'll have to look for another one.

Im truly sorry for the loss of the Playlists. Are you using the 'BlackPlayer Custom library'? Try switch to that in Metadata Settings. This should have much better Playlists stability. Email me if you need any help. Sorry again.
