Best music player I've used on Android. It supports the LG G6's Quad DAC and it sounds amazing. However this player is unable to play anything higher than 24bit/96Khz and it would be great if it was possible to play higher res music. With the 18:9 aspect ratio of the Galaxy S8, LG G6 and other phones with this aspect ratio; the album art get cropped off at the sides and I believe that should be fixed as more and more phones will be using this ratio in the future. Great music player, will be buying the EX version soon.

This is an excellent music app. The menus are very clean and easy to use. The app is also full of neat features and cosmetic customization. There is also a cover art downloader and artist picture downloader. They even have the artist bios! Simply amazing...and for free! I am highly considering purchasing the paid version to support this developer. My only small criticism is I wish that you can easily see how many songs you have and many hours or days worth of music you have. Maybe I missed it somewhere or maybe it's in the paid version. Other than that, this app may be perfect! Great job dev and thanks for the app!

I've never gone to google play purposely just to leave a review. But this is just so amazing, I have to. I've tried MANY music apps, and I'm VERY picky and music is huge to me- this is the best by far. Seamlessly integrated my equalizer into it, my album covers always come up, and its so easy to search for ones I don't have and/or lyrics. And, AND...!!! THE BALL TIME COUNTER THING AND TEXT BACKGROUNDS MATCH THE ALBUM COVERS COLOR!!! I hope you're paying your code guys a lot. A. LOT. BC this is a beautiful, simple, well designed app that I will recommend.

Hi guys I would just like to let u know this is my favorite player app. I was wondering if you can look into an issue. Sometimes the equalizer and the amp setting disable. I try to open YouTube. I try to force close. Nothing. The only thing that works is shutting down the phone and turning it back on. Then it works again. Idk why it does this. Maybe u guys can figure it out? Idk. Love this app though. It's definitely not enough to make me uninstall! Love the tag editor

This is honestly the single best app on my phone allows me to do anything and everything I need and then some. There is Added features i love and didn't expect like the artist BIOS is amazing. And finding album art from download's, Could not recommend a better music app. Do not bother looking any further

Black Player just doesn't see the files on the SDCARD that is selected and authorized in the settings. I tried many cards, formatted them, cleared all app caches, tried to put music in different folders on the memory card. Nothing seems to work. I truly wanted to give BP a try.

This has been my go to app for my personal music library! It's completely costomizable and plays great! I just wish it had access to cloud storage like Google Play Music but eh.. minor complaint.

Deleted my Playlists as well as a huge handful of the songs I had on my phone. My library is a lot smaller than it used to be. I don't even know how to identify which songs have been deleted besides the ones I tried searching for. Why are they being deleted and why can't any playlists save after I add new music to my phone? Can you suggest a dark music player that actually works so I can install it on my phone? I'm getting sick of the same songs on my shuffle bc so many have been deleted by your app ☺️

Do not appreciate ads, so will probably be uninstalling this. I want a simple dark themed music player app without a lot of extra features (and no ads). As this is getting too feature rich for me, I'm out.

I like the interface and simplicity, but the whole reason I'm trying apps other than Play Music is so that I can play the .WAV files on my device. I was excited when I saw that in the app description, and then I tried to play my music... silence. Every song not in .WAV format played just fine.

Was a sure 5 star, until I needed to play songs from one of my playlists and i discovered it was no longer there. I don't know what could have caused it to disappear all of a sudden. Pls fix that. Thanks. Best music app for me

I have used for years and love this just wish we could change background widget colors etc. But it's an awesome app. Super sound quality update song album pics are wrong I fixed them and the images go back to the wrong image

A clean minimal player that somehow still manages to cater to all the mobile music listening options and settings that common sense would dictate. Highly recommended if you're not a fan of cluttered apps. Might have found one or two glitches, but since I can't be bothered to remember them I think it's clear they don't actually damper the experience.

After the latest update, the app has become quite slow and buggy at some places, for example when pressing the album art for the add favourites, et al options. I'm using RedMi Note 3, also please add support for synced lyrics, this is by far my favourite music player, this is the only feature I feel is missing.

I've used this app for years and still prefer it. But I don't usually write reviews. I'm doing so to inform the developer that for me on the HTC 10, I'm unable to end the app process without force stopping it. Please fix!

I cant listen to music while doing other things on my phone. Why ? Please fix this, this is the best music player out there, I rlly like that you can put lyrics on songs... just fix this bug

Not at all intuitive. First impressions were good, but after browsing and trying to build a few playlists, I'm less and less impressed. After taking several minutes to build a playlist, the whole playlist disappeared without a trace. When trying to navigate music in the library, if I advance to the right, I cannot go back to the left unless I completely close the app. So if I want to look at an album, then go back to the artist list, I can't figure out how to go back without completely shutting the app down. That's super non-intuitive. Nothing I've tried works. It plays music, yes, but there are far superior choices out there...

This is one of the best on the market but there is one thing that really annoys me which has made me incline towards putting the 1 star. That is that if you click on a song in the selection (e.g. all songs or in the album. Pretty much anywhere you can find the current song) that's currently playing, it will put the song all the way back to the beginning which is really annoying. You're not the only one that does it, other music players do it too. But if you can change this and: 1. Make an icon/highlight to say that song is playing. 2. Make it so if you click the current song that is playing, it will bring it to the current song screen (with the album cover enlarged and the seeker. Basically the screen when you click the song at the bottom of the screen); If this is done, I will change to a five star and I will buy the app. If the app is perfect, I will donate an I can tell you, it is close to perfection.

I love how it has bios, it even has bios written for crazy obscure artists. I wasn't sure which media app to download and after seeing the layout and the album art as well as information on all the artists, I have to say I'm impressed. I could probably nitpick something stupid to complain about, but it does everything I need it to and more! Download it!

Love this app however I have at least one concern. The player often play 4 or 5 songs and then just stops. I have no idea why, I just hit play and it continues however this is kind of maddening.

If I have any songs I have in my phone storage and placed them in my SD card, those songs won't play. Most of my songs were already on the same SD card and I don't understand why this happens. I really wanna transfer my other songs on my card and I really don't want to have to pick another app than this because I love it soooo much.

6/10/16 times this app crashes. It seems to be usually when I'm listening and a text/call/email comes in. The music keeps playing, until I unlock my phone. Then the message "app has stopped working" comes up and the player closes. I've reinstalled, restarted phone etc. Been doing this for about 2 months. It's great when it works though 5/2017 update I have recreated multiple playlists multiple (5-6) times and they keep just disappearing - very frustrating. I thought it was happening anytime I plugged into my computer... But has happened once without plugging into my comp.

Overall, it's a great app. Except for one thing, everytime I manually set the album picture for an album, it would sometimes go back to its original photo. I keep changing the picture, but it will just go back to its original! I hope this improves!

This app was fantastic until the last 2 updates... All photo references lost or changed and had to reset the lot... A lot of work... Very disappointed the menus were better before last update... Why change when not broken... Go back to previous... All artists ID images are now pixelated, looks terrible... Please revert back to previous version, and now bombarded with advertising... It's just a roll down the hill for this app... I'm sorry to say it WAS the best... Not now

It was a good music player. And now everything is buggy. Please try improve it like it was before. Equalizer was good then. Now it's working like every other player in the market. Every band should have individual gain and now if increase the low the high's are getting muddy.

This is the third app I tried as the first two glitched out ad were unusable (Hint: Its the first two in the search). This app works very well, nothing extra that makes it not work.

If you want a music library app with a good shuffle feature, this is NOT IT. I listen to my music pretty much every evening in the shower. Despite having hundreds of songs in my library, this app seems to play the same handful of songs every flippin time. It is sooooo frustrating.

The only reason I gave a 3 was the album covers and artist pictures are not right they haven't been identified properly and the equaliser doesn't make much of a difference but apart from that best app music player for Samsung s8 please fix issues and I will give 5 stars

I have always liked this app, however, since the recent update, the app crashes and stops playing quite often (within 1-5 songs). If this issue could be fixed then I would continue to enjoy the app as I have been.

This is the best music player I've ever used. The only problem I'm having is that my playlists keep disappearing. If I could get some help with that, that'd be great.

I recently updated (May 19, 2017) and while the music is playing it will randomly crash in the background. I was already having issues with the notification widget displaying improperly when the music stops but the play/pause buttons don't change nor do the name of the currently playing songs. Please fix the bugs I love your app but ever since the last 3 updates I have been running into more problems. I'm running on the LG G5, on the latest Android OS, so it's not for lack of processing power. Please fix!!

Great app, definitely my favorite app. Just a suggestion for da developers, only thing that could make this better is if you made a full screen lock screen with the lyrics page

Ever since the most recent update (05/09/2017) this app takes 15+ seconds to add any song to your favorites or a playlist, and takes almost as long to load everything else. It was slow before the update, but now it's gotten unusable

I tried the default player on every phone I ever had of varying brands and never seen a good one. I hate downloading excessive apps and prefer default apps if possible. I tried a few other players with annoying interfaces before i tried this one. I do not even attempt to trying other players anymore cuz this is perfect to me. Overall it is the most satisfying app I have ever installed that i put on every new phone I get and I get a few a year. The interface is simple and the widget is great because my wallpaper is black and I make it translucent. I recommend this one to everyone. Only issue I have ever had was when i moved the songs to other folders. I moved all my alternative artists to an alternative folder and after that the playlist would no longer work. It was annoying to hand pick 350 songs out of about 700 but it was long ago and maybe fixed.

You know what you guys should add "Latest Added" playlist it would be much easier to find the song that we just downloaded other then that I love the whole thing!

I really love the UI, but there is a tiny problem with the playback skipping a beat when playing a song and locking the screen via power button. It's an excellent app.

Unclear instructions for enabling SD card support, it was really mysterious what one is supposed to do. Other music player worked with music on SD card without any issues.

Recent updates have detracted from it, playlists now get spontaneously erased, ads flare up while browsing and the interface occasionally faults. Would purchase EX but it likely encounters similar errors. Still head and shoulders above the competition in UI and appearance though... for now.
