Great, when it works properly Fantastic when it works, but all too often the Android app fails to sync with the Pebble app, which is mildly annoying.
I have the new Pebble Time. The app works great, meaning it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Per the instructions from a forum post I had read, I configured a task (using Tasker - Get Secure Settings - Pebble Tasker) to easily and properly allow Google Voice Search on my Pebble Time (i.e., via a single button press, a) my phone wakes up and unlocks; b) Google Voice Search activates without my having to say "Ok Google," d) after 15 seconds my phone returns to its locked state. I used Pebble Tasker to link the button of my choice to that task. Works as it should.
Endless Possibilities I use Pebble Tasker to toggle my Wemo lights through IFTTT. Works awesome!
Excellent app! Connection errors seems to have been fixed, so far so good. Back to 5 stars.
Tasker on your Pebble You can basically use this to make your Pebble do anything. Your own creativity is the limit. I have about 15 small little tasks set up that I can run from the push of a button on my watch. Stuff like getting a weather forecast, finding my phone if I lose it, and texting my wife when I leave work.
Awesome app. Actually very simple. Let's you execute Tasker tasks from your Pebble. So the more you understand and learn Tasker, the better this app becomes.
- Updated to PebbleKit 3.0.
- Potential bug fix for watch app not finding phone app. If you run into an issue where the watch asks about the Android app, please try reopening PebbleTasker on your phone at least once to allow it to register with the system. If you still run into the issue, please drop us an email!
