Really angry! Have used this app for a very long time now. Never had an issue till yesterday.... I exported 20 of my passwords because I was getting a new phone. Got my new phone went to import them back and they LITERALLY no where to be found. I'm furious some were very important. How can I get them back?! I have to have them back!
Like! UPDATE: its now 2016, 4 years from my previous comment, and I'm still using passdroid. I've gone through two phones and on each one I make sure to download it. Passdroid is perfect because I know it's secure.
Twice a problem I've said good things for years about this app, but just like Nina, exported encrypted file does not survive transfer to new phone. This has happened TWICE... 2 years ago, and TODAY. Fortunately I exported unencrypted, transferred to lappy, deleted copy on phone and encrypted on laptop. If I hadn't taken that measure in advance, they'd be gone. I have to re enter on a new phone app AGAIN ... and it won't be this one.
This app is okay but NO support whatsoever. I emailed developer about problem and never received a response, I would stay away from this app!!!!!! I purchased Passdroid on a phone that recently broke and I reinstalled it on my new phone however I don’t know how to get the passwords from my old phone to the new one. I have tried to open the files on my PC but don’t know how to do it. Can someone post a suggestion on how to access the information. Thanks
Ok Not bad but one huge problem is that the info is not protected against being wiped by someone looking to clear space on their mobile by pressing the 'Clear data' button in system (application) settings of their phone. No warning, you just lose everything. Can this be protected against?
Simple and Teriffic I really do love this app. The only suggestion I have would be for the "Note" field to be multi-line. I'd prefer to enter the security questions and answers along with the account username/password information.
