About this app

Talking clock — the clock that tells you the time.

Tired of squinting to read the time on your phone? Talking clock turns your Android device into an accessible clock that announces the time out loud, clearly and naturally, so you never have to strain your eyes again.

Everything it does
• Time by voice. Shake the phone, move your hand near the proximity sensor or tap the screen and hear the exact time instantly, without looking at the screen.
• Periodic announcements. Set the clock to announce the time every X minutes within a schedule you choose (for example, from 9:00 to 14:00). Perfect for keeping track of time without looking at the screen.
• Spoken alarms. Set alarms at the times you want and the clock will speak to you the moment they go off.
• Configurable language. Choose the language the clock speaks in, from those available on your device.
• Greeting and farewell. Personalize the phrases the clock uses to start and end every announcement.

Made for everyone
Talking clock is designed especially for older adults, people with low vision or blindness and anyone who wants to know the time without looking at the screen. Its simple interface, with large buttons and clear text, is comfortable for unsteady fingers and for people unfamiliar with technology.

Privacy
Your privacy matters. Talking clock collects no personal data and works offline: the voice is generated on your own device.

Ratings and reviews

this is a nice talking clock.. instead of saying hours, am , pm would have been much better.

A73 5G. I feel I'm a part of the development of this app. I'm with this app for more than three years. I love it from the time I start using it, after trying many others. I can not envisage anything else that I would want in this app. I can add a notification sound to let me know time will be announced, then comes the customised greetings then the Army-time announcement and then the farewell. All of this takes about a second. This is the most customisable #1 APP. Developers WELL DONE!!!

very enjoyable talking clock. does as intended. has natural sounding voice and can provide message Before and after Time read aloud. it would be nice however if the seconds were included also. the app does have ads but they're unobtrusive..... banner ads. it would be nice to have the option of paying for a version that has no ads. app is highly recommended
