I've been playing the game for almost a month now. After realizing I was logged into an old kongregate account I lost all of my progress, including characters. I decided to do some of the ads to get free flair to catch back up to my previous state a little faster (it was my fault I lost the progress anyways, not theirs) I completed one of the more time consuming ads and waited for the reward to come in. After a few days I decided to email the support team to ask if they could help remedy the situation. I added what I had done and screenshots of the information dealing with the ad and relative bonus. Within a few hours I had a return email, and that extra flair in my message box! I was very pleased with how fast and efficient they are. The game is awesome, and the support team is even better! I hope all of you out there enjoy this game and the overall experience like I have.
Th a e rate of play slows way down as you move up. Unless you play it 24/7 your unlikely ever to get to the top. They play gets very repetitious with few features through play to help you. There are Events but they are separate games really. Nothing you do in the event aids you in the Main Game, that seems like poor planning and game play.
It's a pretty great idling game, and the source material is a big part of that. I admit I was very surprised to discover a phone app based on a cult classic movie from 1999, but I definitely wasn't disappointed. The graphics are good. Cartoony versions of characters from the movie and whatnot. The game mechanics make sense thematically, again because of the source material. Burning down the building is the best part. Go Milton!
I really dig incremental style games. I also tend to enjoy kongregates content, however the push to pay seems to really be prevalent in the events. I don't expect that people who pay to not have an advantage. I do however find it extremely frustrating to grind through and entire event and come nowhere close to beating it. Micro-transactions or the only type of mobile game you can get seem to really push developers to focus on throttling a game so people are driven to pay instead of trying to make a game fun and immersive. I'm fully aware you guys have to pay the bills I'm not saying don't eat. I'm just saying quit pushing for caviar before you order the steak.
Latest update broke it. Power up by watching an ad that increases intern taps by 1000% ended up stopping all time. No intern taps, no countdowns on the floors, everything is like it's on pause. Restarting the game made it run again.
After playing this game for about two months now, I finally realized that its impossible to win without $$$. Im at level 60+ now, after hundreds of boring mind numbing "burns," I've hit a brick wall. The game refuses to progress now, I assume to want me to spend money. And YES, I have all my character placed correctly to maximize profits. Don't think I want something for nothing... I watched thousands of adds to get what appears to be all for nothing now. Thanks Man. :-(
