It's a 50/50 Some days it's good. Other days not so much. The data useage should be actuate. I shouldn't be paying for extra data if the application can't calculate it properly. My password changes somehow. It's a hard enough as it is. As well as I have had an ebill still up since November. Where's the new one. Last but not least you should ask customers if they want the application on the phone before installing with the last system update.
Better before update but still good The interface used to have a billing cycle bar that you could compare against your usage at a glance. That was pretty genius. Now the billing cycle is only displayed as a number. It's a minor complaint but erks me every time I check my usage. Otherwise great little app that does exactly what it's supposed to.
Meh It's nice and all but.. The data counter is slow to update. Like I know it doesn't refresh every 30seconds but I can read the time it has been refreshed and it doesn't make sense.. Example: it'll say it has been updated at 4AM in my local Time Zone (GMT -5) but I'm pretty sure it has been updated like 30minutes ago (2PM per example)... Fix this, because I'd like to know how often it updates my data usage.
Mixed usefulness The app has a nice interface. I like that it saves the login & password. The data usage page is great. The billing page shows only the latest month, nothing from the past. Like most apps these days, there are a lot of pages in this app that most people will never use, just junk clogging up the interface. Most people only want billing and data info, and since billing needs work, I rate this 2.5/5.0, the interface bumps it to 3.0/5.0.
Data tracker not good. Better notification needed Said I had 3mb left on my last billing day, basically turned it on for 1 min and went over by less than 1mb. No notification that I went over. Koodo sends a text if you reach 90% but not when you reach 100% of your data use? I guess they like customers going over their limits for extra money for their adds telling everyone their different...
every 5 to 10 days the password gets locked. if customers can't log in whats the point of this app. this is the 5th time I call customer service to have them reset that password and I'm only been with koodo a month and a half. But other than that, the service is excellent and customer support very helpful and courteous. overall I'm happy just the app sucks because of the login issues
