Very limited on the number of clouds that supports. Does not support any of the club vendors that support encryption and it doesn't import encryption itself and as such is a unsecure application for storing your files. It wants five dollars for something that most programs will do for free of this nature. Furthermore it always supports three cloud vendors as of this time. It needs a lot of work for five dollars.
Need PC to enable It would make much more sense to install this app backup to cloud and go. Instead it closes on me because I don't have a PC handy with the desktop app installed. Makes no sense
App went down the drain This app sucks for 5.X tried to use it on 5.1 states I need to connect to pc. I connect. Then the PC program says helium is enabled and the phone itself never connects just loops saying to turn on ptp. Doesn't do anything anymore.
Genius! The N7(2012) is basically our son's, but of course I rooted it. Recently I followed Android Police's, instructions for updating to 4.3, and of course I returned it to full stock. Little people are so curious, you know. So, I'm a little concerned cause I backed up some of his games with Helium while rooted, is the unroofed restore gonna work? Wonderful though, I installed the windows Helium helper and restored complete. Thanks to Koush, I'm not on my four year olds naught list. :-)
Works fantastically... It just doesn't do exactly what i wanted it to and thought that it did. "Android to Android" app sync is not a live application synchronization feature. It is a manual app by app feature instead of a "when the data changes on one sync it to the other" kind of thing. This is what I am mainly hoping for and look forward to in the future. Otherwise it does what it says has fantastic sync/backup and restore features similar to titanium backup. For some reason though it has some apps labeled as backup disabled.
Quick and easy Even if you aren't using custom ROMs, it's still valuable to transfer the exact state of your apps between phones. Invested a lot into a game? This is your solution to move everything safely via an online storage account (like Google drive)
Carbon was renamed to Helium. (trademark issues)
