The Best, but it can be improved. This is the easiest and best mind map that I could find. It doesn't need a 'parent' to start the network, you are free to do whatever you want. However, the screenshot export is not good for large structures. An option for exporting in high resolution to JPG or PDF would be perfect. Also, a backup feature would be great and a 'multiple selection' mode could also be useful. Anyway, the best and free, no ads!! :)
Almost Perfect! Could you please allow for different color line connectors. If you could change their colors you could effectively represent different types of connections. ie...making a ledgend for electrical block diagrams. Or different paths/choices with their counter parts. That is the only thing that needs to be addressed. Thanks for this little gem!
Best mind map app I've found so far I've tried many mind map apps and platforms, and for all their features and promises, there was always a glaring issue or two that drove me to look for something else. I use mind maps as one of my primary ways of idea development, so finding the 'perfect app' was a priority. So far, SharpMindMaps is it. The list of pros: free, easy to use interface, clean design (I can't commit my ideas to something ugly!), reliable, just enough customizations and options to suit my needs, simple import and export features. Even the icon is nice. Cons: none I can think of so far. Maybe an option for auto-export to Dropbox or Google Docs., but that would just be a lagniappe, really.
Better than many I am so glad to have stumbled upon this app. This serves my needs precisely, as it can connect one point with several modules, which is not available in any other free app presently - and I've tried more than 20 odd apps for this purpose. And lo! It's free. Not complaining, but the editing option for a given module could have been less time consuming.. still it works good enough... Great work Dev. And yeah, no silly permissions. Not even Internet connection for ads. Bravo!!
Pretty good. Shortcut for adding new node: Long Press anywhere. Pros: Ease of use, style edit options, light weight. Con: does not allow to collapse/expand nodes, which means I cannot move a chunk together. Not ideal for super-detailed maps, but great for small to medium sized maps.
Basic Essential Functions are FREE Pros: you don't need to buy an upgrade to crosslink (which should always be free, like really), uncomplicated, adequately customizable, lightweight, can link with arrows, no issues zooming & scrolling, user friendly. Personal Upset: I would REALLY like to be able to attach a note to items. Cons: lacks advanced features such as importing pics or external links, which is cool because it's a basic app. Thank you so much for not putting a price on mind mapping!
