□ Why should you do a pet urine test?

Blood components are excreted through the urinary system in the process of metabolism to maintain homeostasis, which is the basis for maintaining an animal's life. Urine contains foreign substances, sugars, proteins, lipids, amino acids, electrolytes, enzyme and hormones, which are byproducts of metabolism, and these reflect the animal's environment.

Therefore, we can get insight about various diseases, early warnings of diseases, and the presence of symptoms through urine color, odor, and component analysis. The urine test is one of the most frequently performed tests in veterinary hospitals because the method is simple and economical.

One month in a companion animal's biological clock is equivalent to six months of that of a human's.
