Ratings and reviews

The type of device/OS you're using will determine whether your experience is good or bad. On Android, this is at best average. File import/TTS work with local Android voices. Can't get Microsoft Azure to work even with the correct API key, region. I can see the voices, but never works. I also tried on an iPhone with the same API key and it worked. Something is wrong with the Android app and connecting to Azure. Also, iOS has Google AI setup options. I can't rate this higher until Azure is fixed.

hello. I have been using speech Central for a few years now. currently on Pixel 6. your recent upgrade (was it late 2025?) has really thrown a wrench in main use of the app. I can no longer figure out how to edit my pasted text. I listen to PDFs that don't read properly when imported directly, so I have to copy paste them. do I have to upgrade to get this feature back? POSTSCRIPT: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR QUICK REPLY. I did not know about that long press feature. That fixed my whole problem

Appears to be Ad-free & free, and it reads my epub file just fine, i assume it works offline, overall this should have more downloads and stars.. ------ Bug: The top slider doesn't work, so I have to tap the arrows manually to get it to the middle of the book, hope they fix that, then it would be rather perfect. ------ Feature request: Allow slower reading than .5x, which is just barely my non-visual listening & comprehension speed.
