Ratings and reviews

This app is a great tool for making reservations at restaurants that subscribe to the service. I'm too old to learn Portuguese or Spanish (believe me, I've tried), so being able to make a reservation without having to call and risk screwing it up is very reassuring. I appreciate having my contact information saved so that making reservations only requires a few clicks. It seems many, perhaps most, of the restaurants don't accept payment through The Fork's app.

Not sure why this is so highly rated--it's super self-serving on their behalf, not users'. Challenge the app to find something like a bakery or an ice cream shop while KNOWING several exist. If the app can't get something out of your need to find a type of place, there will be no results. I'm a longtime technologist and I've used it several times in various scenarios, remaining more-than-underwhelmed. Uninstalling.

Don't use this app if you want to have an enjoyable vacation, and look at recent reviews...I gave it a 2 just so people know I'm not bitter and angry, and this was not a one off. Several international + domestic trips, but very poor ease of use. I've had the following; marked as unattended after properly canceling, poor communication with customers and businesses, confusion from restaurants/tour locations themselves when this app doesn't line up with what they offer. use open table
