About this game

Shoujo City is a dating simulator game where you'll have to interact with cute anime girls in a virtual Japanese city. Your goal in this anime dating sim is to win love of a girl in 10 days by giving her gifts, playing games, inviting to a cafe, or having regular dates. While talking to a girl, each dialogue choice affects your score.

Ratings and reviews

I redownloaded the game and I managed to get 200+ score for all girls. My biggest issue is that certain minigames like the puzzle minigame with the redhead was much more difficult than it should have been due to the sensitivity system of the pieces. The squirrels have a lot of speed and it takes experience and strategy to nab them. The dating spots lose bonuses which is a big disappointment as they don't even fill up as days pass. Also, yandere girl=best girl, but SERIOUSLY hard girl!

I miss the old shoujo city! I want the one where you don't have to pay real life money for a key that lets you get More money this isn't the one I grew up with please turn it back into the old one. I'm tired of being broke when trying to get a girlfriend! It's ridiculous.

Sure, it's cool and all, but without the key that you can buy for real money, you have a limited amount of resources. As without it, some content is locked off. I was flat broke halfway through a route and by the time I was done, there were no new places to date; every place, at the very least, had a -5 affection debuff due to its repeated reuse. If you're not willing to pay money, don't play this. The story is average and the gameplay is PAINFULLY repetitive, on top of the content paywall.
