Awesome app Initially I was not aware of the importance of battery saving app. When I bought my S4, I just installed the juicedefender as per the rating & best app list and the battery life was good. The day comes when it has shown me the importance of this app. One of my Twitter friend has suggested that the aaa app is good. Hence I uninstalled the juicedefender and installed aaa. Then the battery has started draining like anything. Google play services is keep on running in the background and it is consuming more.
Best app I ever installed Not sure why the Android OS manages power so poorly but it does. This app takes "the phone from lasts almost the whole time I'm at work" to "this phone is the best purchase I've ever made!" That's because all of a sudden you aren't afraid to use the power hungry hardware that all the really fun and powerful apps require. To top it off the free version does just about everything you need. I paid to upgrade because it easily doubled the battery life of my phone. To the Dev, thanks you did a great job!
Actually Works Gave me x1.48 battery life in 2 days (Galaxy S2) and I can honestly see the difference!! Very easy to use and detailed yet simple directions/explanations on how every little thing works which is great for me because I like knowing exactly what an app is doing to my phone when I install it! Easy 5/5 stars. Keep up the great work devs!
SUPERB! I don't know about the complaints... but for me it works like a charm! Been using it on my tabby for 1/2yr already and love it! And now started using it with my new Droid phone as well. Tried a few other battery saving apps, but they didn't give me the same results than Juice Defender. I recommend it 100%. I use the FREE Version and enabled balanced. Check your log for storage and performance clues of your device, I suggest to pair it with Clean Master as well, and you should be all set. ^^
This is the app. The one. It would be stock if carriers didn't rely on people getting sick of their phones. Please consider my take on some top reviews: *Android does NOT manage data on its own.* Data is only disabled if WiFi is connected. If *you think* uninstalling this app ups your battery life twofold, see a shrink. It uses next to no resources. Why hasn't it been updated in a long time? Because ... wait for it ... it's worth it ... because it's perfect. You don't fix perfect. Thanks, LATEDROID.
I was a faithful user of the paid version of this app for a long time across three different phones. As a current user of a Galaxy S4, I assumed my battery problems were related to Lollipop and the age of the phone at the time of its release. Desperate to get more that 6 hours of typical use, I deleted JuiceDefender (and only JuiceDefender) as a troubleshooting measure and now get 24 hours of typical use. Sorry guys, it hurts me to say it, but this app has been crippled and does more harm than good. I'm not going to 1-star this because it once worked as advertised. Good luck in later releases.
