Some good options, but... Doesn't save ANY battery. I've already set up my phone to only sync when I open an app, which save more battery than you can imagine, then turned the brightness down, WAY down. I had juice defender shut off data/wifi when needed and my battery consumption has gone UP in the last week. So I asked for a refund.
Issues with kitkat update Appear to not disable and enable the wifi correctly, couples of times its can't enable the wifi again and the device stating that wifi on even it's not, and I have to restart my mobile each time to make my device connecting to the wifi. When I removed the app, the device fixed. Please address the issue.
I could only go 14 hours without plugging in, and I'm a light user. Doesn't speak well for the HTC INSPIRE battery. Now I can go a solid 24 hours!
Where's the about tab? This has saved my bacon a few times now. Only complaint is it sometimes turns my data and Wi-Fi off even at full charge. Other than that it's great! By the way, where's the about tab?
Invaluable Tool Let's face it: battery life on smartphones sucks. Juice Defender makes it suck less. I started out with the free version before upgrading when Plus went on sale and have never regretted the decision. I'm not a power user, so I'm sure there are features I'm missing, but who cares. The app just works, and for the average user, that's enough. Easy-to-use, tons of features (if you're into that sort of thing), and seemingly active development. Get it.
Increases data usage..battery saving is minimal Well the idea is good but implementation is yet not good.if you choose Wi-Fi auto disable , it will automatically disable Wi-Fi but it takes time to reconnect to Wi-Fi and keeps on using you data. If you choose to turn Wi-Fi on based on location then anyways you battery life will decrease. So finally i have to stop using it and just stick with stock power saving options
