Outstanding This program has more than doubled the battery life on my HTC One. I am now also using it on my Nexus 7. It takes a little getting used to and a little tweaking but once you have your settings properly established it works great and it's really saves on the battery. If you have questions or experience any problems they offer great support. I highly recommend the ultimate version as the advanced settings really give you a lot more flexibility.
Absolutely amazing app This app literally doubled battery life on my HTC Droid DNA almost immediately. Do not even hesitate to buy, Juice Defender works flawlessly out of the box, requires minimal setup and once it's running you only know it's there because of the notification tray icon (which you can turn off) and that your battery isn't running down anywhere nearly as quickly as it has. I used the free version at first but it worked so well I felt guilty about not paying for it. This technology should be part of Android IMO.
Amazing Awesome app. A must have for all smart phone users. The ultimate version can be a little overwhelming with all the options at first but it is well worth it to figure it all out and have this app power your battery life into something we thought were gave up with the smart phones. My battery life is almost doubled now. The wifi training feature is very innovative and possibly my favourite part! Thanks for an awesome app!
Not worth the money, at all! This app does what it was designed to do for the most part, but it definitely isn't worth $5 in my opinion. I love the way it has more options and fine tuning, but the layout and set up is very confusing. I can see a lot of basic users having a hard time with it. Battery Doctor by KSMobile is much easier to use and has a nice layout. BD doesn't have all the options that this does and the designers grammar isn't the best, but it works very well and it's free. We need a good combination of the two.
Does what it says. I did purchase the ultimate to help my saferoot rooted galaxy s3 jelly bean 4.3. So far so good. I am using the advanced tabs and have been able to tweak it to fit my needs for theist part. I Would have given 5 stars except I need to have GPS running with certain apps, I.e., Google maps, It shuts down GPS When the screen turns off. I don't mind waiting for wifi and 4g to turn on. With my rooted phone it usually comes on within seconds since I have the ability to turn off system draining apps as well.
Usefulness depends on your device I have Juice Defender Ultimate (JD) installed on three devices: ASUS Transformer TF101, Motorola MotoACTV, and Galaxy Note II. On my Note II JD doesn't really do that much, not because it's not working, but because of NFC. I have NFC tags in my car, at work, and at home, that I use for quickly enabling and disabling settings that I (don't) need. It comes in handy though when I am out and about without the tags. However, the battery life of my MotoACTV and my TF101 has almost doubled thanks to JD! If you're willing to painstakingly adjust the settings to suit your needs you will be amazed by what battery life you might get. Support is very friendly and helpful and you can tell they have a good sense of humor by looking at the explanations in the settings. Well worth the money I spent.
