About this app

CheckPointz allows you to post the location of checkpoints or other major barriers on the road that lead to delays, fines, and in some countries, shakedowns!

To post, click the + button, position the location, and tap check. Tap the checkpoint to add details or extend the life of the checkpoint.

If you see another person's checkpoint on the map and can visually confirm it, you will extend the life of the checkpoint. Confirming is caring!

Each checkpoint lasts 120 minutes from when it was last confirmed. You can gauge how problematic a checkpoint is by the number of people confirming it.

Be sure to allow notifications to get updates within about a 6km (4 mile) radius from your current location.

Useless and confusing to use. More like a map app and I have Google maps for that. Very disappointed.
