For personal loans in Australia, the minimum and maximum period for repayment is 12 months to 84 months respectively. The highest interest rate we currently offer in Australia for new customers is 25.99%; however, existing customers could have up to 34.95%. A personal loan of $30,000 borrowed for 5 years with an interest rate of 10.99% p.a. (12.28% p.a. comparison rate) would equate to a total amount payable of $40,233 (including a $299 establishment fee and $13 monthly loan servicing fees).

For personal loans in New Zealand, the minimum and maximum period for repayment is 6 months to 84 months respectively. The highest interest rate we currently offer in New Zealand for new customers is 24.99%; however, existing customers could have up to 34.95%. An unsecured Gem Personal Loan of $20,000 borrowed for three years with an interest rate of 8.99% p.a. (fixed for the life of the loan) would equate to a total repayment amount of $22,933.80 (including a $240 establishment fee).

There is no way to search transactions. Purchases in foreign currencies are shown only in AUD. The card cannot be used for online purchases while overseas because the security code can only be sent to an Australian mobile; no in-app authentication option. There is no secure mail so you have to phone someone with poor English and jump through all the authentication hoops to resolve any problems, even from overseas. The app shows only the minimum payment amount not the full amount due.

Very dangerous and dishonest app to show correct payment amount needed. I just calculated my true payment needed compared to the amount the app says, and it should be double the amount. They mislead those who always pay before the interest free period expires, to wind up needing to pay interest. I have caught them out many times and asked for a formal complaint, but still they don't care and just want more money. And what other app takers up to a week to process a payment. DO NOT USE!

App is good. But it lacks few options. The ability to subscribe to receive the statent to the email. U need to log in to the web version. Then, when u make a payment over 250$, it doesn't show u when the next payment is due and the amount of the instalment. Else I am happy with the rest.
