Great app, well worth the few bucks to get rid of adds. Only major issue I have is that there doesn't seem to he a way to subscribe to new subreddits or gild comments through the app so if I want to do either I have to open my browser. Pretty inconvienent but not something that comes up super often. 8/10 - would recommend.

Edit: maybe its me but I can never post pics with this app, it always fails. Og: This app runs flawlessly and looks fantastic! Has ads (prefer the banner ads to the new one) but would gladly pay $1 for an ad free version

This is the most convenient app for browsing Reddit. Where other use stark white. Sync uses colors for nested comment threads which is much appreciated. However, it has been taking a couple of seconds to launch when tapping the icon or resume from background. Not sure if this is new, been off Android for almost 4 years till now.

Ad above keyboard, while typing post...really? Gets unusable. How much is greedy enough? Edit: I understand that it is a viable way of funding, and this app is one of the best, deserves to be bought, but the placement of the ad, should not be in the middle of the screen while I'm typing... Anywhere, anytime else -ok. Hope you understand?

By far the most convenient and easiest to use Reddit app for Android. With nice amount of features and customization. Coming from WP where majority of the apps are suited for use with one hand I was really shocked to see how inconvenient and illogical the design is on most of Android apps. Sync for Reddit is exception, it has convenient gestures and logical button placements, paired with snappy performance and nice look.

My fav Reddit app, but after updating it crashes and my phone restarts any time I try to open it. Also whenever I have it installed, any and all launchers continually crash, along with "theme provider." Does anyone else have this problem? If I uninstall everything seems to work ok

I've been using Relay as my default reddit app for a long time now. I occasionally use Sync but I would use it more if the comments in a thread were cached so if I accidentally back out of the thread I can click on it again and be right back at the comment I was reading before. Relay does this perfectly.

Good UI, though not all features are obvious or perfectly easy to use. Took a bit of getting used to, but this app helped me navigate Reddit's features and, as a very new Reddit user, it has helped me begin using Reddit. Reddit is NOT new-user-friendly; this app helped bridge the gap!

It's a good app. However, as of October 2017, it's been crashing a lot lately. Ive been an Android O beta tester, so I'm assuming that it's because of the new OS. It particularly crashes when opening gifs or other large forms of media. Hopefully the next update will fix it?

Your app feels outdated. I'd suggest adding the option to have the menu bar along the bottom to reflect what the latest Google apps are doing (see: YouTube, Chrome Home etc).

I really enjoy Sync for Reddit. The GUI is nice and very smooth. The only issue I have encountered so far is sometimes, when browsing the front page for way too long, the feed will randomly refresh. Then I think, 'I should probably go do something a bit more productive...'

I payed for the ad-free version. Though now the app just isn't working. It starts up but the content doesn't load. Hope it gets fixed soon, I'm still giving 5 stars cuz despite this time it is still a really good app

It's good and all but it keeps randomly crashing. From what I have gathered from the subreddit, it uses too much in the background from a previous update which may cause it to crash. So if they can fix that problem, I would give it a higher rating.

The more updated this receives the more broken it gets, I keep getting "Error I exception" on half the posts and gifs and can't view anything. On top of that i made the purchase to remove ads and I still receive them and there's no support

Works really well. Used to use relay which is also great. Ran into a few gifs not loading so I tried sync and so far haven't had any issues. Will likely buy the premium version of sync

Lately the app will not open certain images and gifs. I get a black screen and error : the file has been moved with no redirect given. The app used to be great but broken and nearly unusable now. Will be uninstalling if this carries on.

If you are running Android 8.0 (Oreo) I suggest not using this app until it is fixed. I really hate to have to uninstall this app but it's broken on Oreo. Totally unable to download images in sync. The issue has been raised in the official sub but no responses or help in over a week.

Good app, but has a few quirks. On several devices with onscreen navigation buttons, the app will flicker when returning from a post back to my feed. This is the only app that does it. It happens a few times per day and messes up an otherwise excellent app.

This is a great app for Reddit, but I wish it had a "medium size" option for the cards. Edit: the app has been crashing in the middle of normal browsing. Taking off a star until fixed.

I find this app much more convenient than other 3rd party apps, and even the official. Any complaints I may have had, I've found to be completely customizable. AMOLED mode looks great on my s8+. There are minimal ads that are very unobtrusive, and I've found the search function to be the best of the apps I've tried.

Great app, best Reddit app imo. Would be nice if we could move/edit the functionality of the button on the homepage. I used to use relay and I miss my easy "hide read posts" button, and I rarely post things so the upload button won't get much use from me. Edit: you can, it's under settings/content/posts/FAB action.

Pretty disappointed. The reddit app's design is inconvenient and frankly a bit stupid for its inability to do simple, obvious things like easily manually enter a subreddit name. Sync fixes those... let's call them oversights and adds lots of functionality besides, but it's so slow on my phone as to be almost unusable. I ended up uninstalling it and just dealing with the goofy layout, limited functionality and nonexistent customization of the reddit app. I gave it three stars because i like the care and attention to detail that went into it and maybe my experience is the exception

Fairly good, but in recent months it seems to have become more and more unstable. Pictures will not open, and I have to close the app and restart it in order to get the app to not be incredibly laggy.

I love this app but I can't seem to solve why watching gifs or mpd from v.redd.it links play in really low potato quality. If I were to play it on a web browser it starts in low quality then goes in high quality.

The app itself is good, but an issue has been present for months now and it's extremely frustrating. The app will randomly take like 5-10 seconds to launch after pressing the app icon. The issue has persisted from Nougat to Oreo on my Pixel XL. I've emailed the dev about it and didn't receive a response, so it doesn't seem like it's something that will be resolved any time soon. Shame, because I really like Sync, but the inconsistency of app launching speeds is forcing me to find a different Reddit client.

The best app I have found to date to browse Reddit, and I've been trying off and on for the past few years. In particular, I like the customizability and flexibility in the settings. Finally, there's an app that not only has a setting for default sorting (I like 'new' versus 'hot', as I'll decide for myself whether it is worthy of that classification, thank you, Reddit) but makes it actually work! Good card view, but also a lot of options as to how you want to set them up. Wish I'd found this earlier.

I like this app, but it would be better if the like buttons did not hide automatically, and scrolling vertically in images is not pleasant because the options bar keeps popping up from the bottom.

My favorite Reddit app and layout but it has this one major problem which I've had since day one where I always randomly get notifications from sync from a comment or inbox which is from ages ago.

What's New

- Added support for v.redd.it links

- Added a setting to clear visited subreddit counts (Settings > History)

- The base APK is now ~32% smaller

- Added a new privacy menu to the settings (with options to disable Google Analytics & Crashlytics)

- Added a few new emoticons (⌐■_■)
