I used BaconReader for the longest time, but I'm so glad I tried this one out. SO MUCH BETTER. The customization (themes, layout, filters, etc), the link handling, all GIFs having a controls menu... Seriously the best Reddit app I've ever used. There is one weird bug though, if you back out of a thread and scroll too quick it blacks out other cards for an instant. But that's not a big deal (just thought it was weird). 10/10. :)
This is THE best Reddit app. The free version is free for a reason, it has ads. That's how the devs make some profit. People complaining waaaay to much over on the free version. This app is worth the few dollars for the convenience and constant support and updates the devs provide. Worth it, milestones better than the actual "Reddit official app"
I love almost everything about this app. The only gripe I have is that lately it hasn't been recognizing my fingerprints when I try to switch accounts. But I'm able to unlock my phone just fine. So I don't think it's an issue with my phone. I suggest when a fingerprint isn't being read, instead of just displaying an error message, allow the user to type in their phone password to switch accounts.
Every feature I wished for and beyond is already present in this app. It's clearly developed by somebody who uses their own app on a daily basis and tweaks it for the best. I loved the app on first sight and refrained from already getting the paid version immediately as a donation and tried to wait a bit just in case I'd be disappointed: I wasn't. Get this app. Support the developer if you like it too.
I switched over from baconreader (and this is a big improvement), but one thing that I noticed is missing is to download imgur albums. This isn't a huge deal (I open up baconreader if I want to do that specifically), but would be awesome... Otherwise this app is smooth, sleek, great!
Definitely an excellent app. Use it dsily/hourly. Problem with gifs loading manifested today. Gifs won't load, if you back out to return to the links the entire app freezes. Hoping for a quick fix
