Been using sync for the better part of three years, and I have watched it unravel into the most fluid, user-friendly, and beautiful Reddit app I've used by far. I used Reddit Is Fun and Relay for Reddit many years ago, and stuck with Sync because of the developer support. There is nearly weekly updates of bug fixes, optimizations, customizations, and tweaks to improve the app upon user demand. I wouldn't recommend any other app but Sync to browse Reddit on a smartphone. 5 stars since day 1.
Had the non pro version for a while, and would recommend it if you don't have the 4 dollars to spare, but would also recommend upgrading to pro when you can. Support the devs of sync because they continue to support sync with suggested features from the community. They care and it shows. ♥️
I love *everything* about this app! I love how it looks, how it instantly responds to gestures and taps... I especially love the level of customization! *Everything* is customizable!!! Even the launcher icon can be changed! The dev is very active on r/redditsync and is constantly updating and adding features to the app. The few dollars this pro version costs is well worth the price, even if it was just to support the developer. Great job, ljdawson! 😊
The most comfortable Reddit app. I've never been one to really delve deep into this app's features, but for my daily usage which is browsing, posting, commenting, and downloading subs for offline viewing this app more than fulfills it. The dev is very active and responds to questions and requests.
The app is alright however if you comment on a subreddit with a frequency limit (1 comment every 10mn for example) and you post too often, no message displays it failed to post and they are impossible to recover. Very frustrating.
Beautiful app. Came from "reddit is fun" and boy was missing out! Would LOVE the option for the soft-nav bar to hide when scrolling or using the app. This will help reduce screen burn-in from the soft keys on the Nav bar
