Motorola Defy +, Android 2.3. Works as advertised. Sky view follows phone screen orientation accurately, both in azimut and in elevation. Shows basic details for the celestial body at the screen center. Show celestial position of the screen center. Allows to search a specific celestial body (a list is available) and shows on the screen an arrow allowing to orientate the screen towards the searched body. Gives at startup a clear indication of the GPS status (number of visible and used satellites, and when a GPS position is acquired, its geographical coordinates. Small foot print (less than 0.5MB). and can be moved to SDCard. No adds that I could see. So far perfect for me. Thanks to the developer.
Super clean Very impressed. Lightweight feel yet so detailed and resourceful. Everything is to my liking. Hard to believe this is a free version. I will gladly pay the 6 bucks for pro simply bc this version was worth that to me. If I had one gripe it would be the unwanted switch to manual panning while trying to zoom in or out on the screen. Haven't figured out how to turn that off, if possible.
Very good skymap ...works well on Moto Game 1st generation with sensors on low. Works excellently on Nexus 7 2012 with default settings. Unfortunately only works in 'manual mode' on Medion Lifetab S10346, even though that tablet has the relevant sensors. Try as I might, I don't seem to be able to fix that in the settings... Help please?
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Great little sky app. Small, to the point & works great. Needs one thing "Light Year Distance" and or miles for planets added. Not over bloated but we need that data to make the app more interesting and useful when using it for reports. Thanks author for that consideration. Would have given 5 stars for that data and more updates.
This is the best app ever... For 2 or 3 month s I been using a telescope I go for Christmas 2013. I use it a bit this past summer. Don't like reading much unfortunately and dint know what I was looking at.This past 2 months I got enthusiastic about it and found this app. The best thing that ever happened was for me to download this app and read the intrusions, is so good. I can actually mount it on my telescope and do an alignment with a know place in the sky and PRESTO! from there on it tells me what it is that am looking at. Thanks
Worked great, until I updated to marshmellow This app is great. While I could never get the push to features to be accurate enough, it functioned well as a versatile all sky map. But now, after updating to marshmallow, the tracking features have ceased to work, with the screen locked at nadir until I manually drag it off. I have tried reinstalling and the problem has persisted. Also, random crashes happen every so often. 5 stars if it hadn't broken.
