About this app

Manage My Pain is the world’s first and only commercially-available digital chronic pain treatment companion with clinical validation and has one of the largest datasets for reported pain outcomes.

Manage My Pain helps you and others better understand what you are going through. It has helped thousands of people with conditions like fibromyalgia, migraines, arthritis, or back pain better understand their symptoms and provide evidence of their pain for their doctors, insurance companies, or government agencies. Manage My Pain was created in partnership with industry-leading pain researchers - your doctor will actually read the reports from our app! Our daily reflections help people focus on their meaningful activities as opposed to the limitations created by their pain.

Manage My Pain will help you:
• Record how you're feeling: Easily describe your pain in less than 30 seconds
• Reflect on your day: Take your mind off pain and record activities that are meaningful to you
• Highlight patterns and trends: Charts and graphs describe your results and get more powerful over time
• Track how well your meds are working: Add any medication to your profile and mark if it helps manage your pain
• Describe your pain to your doctor: Summarize your pain through unique reports that your doctor will actually read

Developed for patients suffering from and care-givers or medical professionals treating:
• arthritis & rheumatism
• cancer
• chronic pain
• headaches & migraines
• fibromyalgia

An optional monthly subscription can be purchased so that an unlimited number of reports with advanced sections may be generated without the need for credits.

Generally very helpful app, decent tech support as well. A bit glitchier since last update -- automatic reminder function no longer works on my phone and the interface is a little less user-friendly in my opinion. Wanted: - ability to "hide" medications so I don't have to scroll through all my old ones every day, but they remain in previous records - ability to add custom sliders in addition to custom list items - stop asking if I want to save changes when I didn't make any change - confusing

Thank you for your kind feedback. You can definitely "hide" the medications by clicking "Edit List" in the medications section and then entering an "End Date" - this turns them into "old" medications and hides them from the list. The reminders not working is the first we've heard - please email us at contact@managinglife.com?

This app has helped tremendously with my venture through different medicines for Fibromyalgia. I am able to keep track of patterns in my pain, where it happens, how it feels, and what hurts. I started with the free version and didn't hesitate to buy the full version because of having the ability to see the patterns and track what I go through daily. It made it easier to show my doctor than to explain, due to the length of time we meet and I am not too good when words have to come out of my mouth

We are so happy that you shared this story with us! Fibromyalgia, in particular, is very difficult to explain. We're glad that Manage My Pain is helping both you and your doctor!

This is the 1st app I have chosen to review. I really like all of the features it has, and I decided to upgrade to pro to add my own categories. In using this app, I discovered my best days were when the weather was high pressure and low dew point, because I could graph backwards and see when my pain levels and functioning were at their lowest and highest, respectively, and then look at past weather reports to uncover these trends. I assume I'll be able to discover other aspects as well.
