Lefties too! I love the caged system for memorizing the fretboard. It's all set up so lefties don't have to convert all of the charts. I was hoping that it would have more scales caged.
Great app David mead is a genius, I also have some of his books. This app can teach novice guitarist's like me a great deal. I have only given it 4 stars because it is not without it's problems and programing glitches, its not at all a slick app and suffers from text over lapping text making some words very hard to read on my nexus 7, some extra content for this paid app would be good too. Overall though it's well worth buying
Works poorly on Note3 Looks like it could be a good app, but it's misformatted and words overwrite other words in the lessons making them illegible.
Poor visual The visual examples are backwards. Should have got my money back when I had the chance.
Best chord app I've downloaded yet Very well developed. Needs the chord reference section addressed, not working on my note 3.
Excellent learning tool Simple, clear and easy to use. Huge help in understanding the fretboard. Sometimes hangs, so 4, but I'll change to 5 stars when that's fixed.
Found and fixed some bugs that were causing the interactive fretboard exercises to hang.
Chord and scale dictionary added to the CAGED Reference section.
Left handed fretboard support enbled as an option in the settings page.
Choice of maple or rosewood fretboards
Create your own chord progressions and play along with a metronome and drums.
The goal of this app is to improve a guitarist's sight reading ability.
