Like others have said, this doesn't really "vet" people when you can pay to skip the line. It keeps telling me I need to complete my profile, but nothing is blank. Of course, I can skip ahead by upgrading and paying. Why would I do that if 100% of the profile is complete but it's only 69% complete? This new math gets me every time. I guess I should have earned a different PhD. It's all marketing, and with plenty of other options, I don't need the game just to get on a platform.

The Ui of the app is fantastic, but unless you plan on paying(a lot) as a male, do not expect to meet anyone. At 1 point my like list was at around 20, today it was empty. You are shown 5 women a day, I was never shown any that had liked me. This apps cheapest option is insanely expensive for no guarantees. I wanted to like this app, given the more professional nature of it, however having a plan that costs 1g a week, and not enabling free users to make connections, this is a dud.

At first glance the app looks like it is only letting quality and vetted people into its services with the wait-list, then you realize that anyone can pay to skip the wait-list so the whole concept is another way of making extra money. I moved about 1,500 spots in two months and have 53,500 more to go so it's definitely possible to do it for free in about 5+ years. I understand they need to make money but just have ads and actually let people use the app. Try another dating app first.

Hello Dawson, thank you for your review. The waitlist does help us maintain the quality of our community and reduce the number of bad actors on the app. Yes, users can buy a membership to get in, but it's not required to be in the League. Please email us at support@theleague.com.
