This app is in "a league of its own" when it comes to dating apps. The concierge are meticulous in screening candidates so ever date is beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful. The calibre of people on here is unbelievable, if you get in you will be beyond impressed as this competes more with high end dating agencies than other apps.

The app itself works ok. I find that the people I'm shown are just not all that physically attractive - and with only 3 people per day it's not worth the space on my phone. I suspect there are a lot of tiers on the back end based on payment, prestige, and attractiveness and whatever experiment they're doing is not working for me.

Great concept but the implementation is off. The server in which the app is hosted on is often down, unresponsive, and possibly cannot handle that many requests. Will update my review when it's fixed.

I have no fb so i requested more info on how can i skip this and instead of info i received that exact email...

Hi Maria, yes and it's an easy fix! If you delete the app and reinstall it everything will be fine. Our Dev team is already hard at work on a permanent fix! Please contact your concierge or support@theleague.com if you have any questions! App worked very well to start with, and had a lot of potential so I purchased the special membership. But 15min into using it, nothing worked anymore. All the requests timed out and I couldn't even log in anymore.

I decided to give it a try; however, i haven't been able to use it yet because of the lengthy waitlist (~13500 waitlisted when i joined). It would be nice if the user review process could be sped up

Feel free to reach out to your Concierge at any time to get tips on how best to utilize the time on the waitlist and tricks for moving up the queue! I get the point is exclusivity, but this means there is not much diversity. If there's no one with your preferences they just throw random people into your people. Not worth it unless they get more people from different backgrounds

Once you start running out of people within your set preferences, we might show you other users that fall just outside of a preference or two and many people have found partners this way! Also, we have a very diverse community across all races, religions, sexualities, etc. Requires LinkedIn for free users under the premise of hiding coworkers. Maybe I'm not shy of that, maybe my soul mate happens to be a coworker. They have a paid premium to skip over this but the price is up now compared to other services. I'm not paying to try the app without LinkedIn

Good morning! While we do understand that some users might be ok with seeing their colleagues on our app, the vast majority of our community relies on our service hiding them from colleagues and Facebook friends. There are a few exceptions, but again the vast majority of all our users (including paid Members) utilize and value the LinkedIn aspect Stupidest app. If you want to get in, wait a few 100 years unless you want to pay $200.

I honestly don't know how the app is to use because they still haven't opened in my area. It's been saying for a while that they needed at least 5000 people in my area to sign up before they could open it. We're at 5437 in this area and it's now saying they need more people. They say they're equalists and not elitists, but only if you live in an area they like...

We have an extensive Membership that can vouch we are 100% real. That said, we do require a valid LinkedIn account so that education and profession can be verified which allows us to not show you colleagues or acquaintances as potential mates! We understand your concern and feel free to email us directly. support@theleague.com I have tried most of the mainstream dating apps and this is now my favorite. It's "Head & Shoulders" above the rest, meaning they are actively ridding me of flakes! I have had some great matches, so far. The conversations via the app are great and a few of them have advanced to calls and texting. I'm even getting active in the Groups. It makes sense because the site has people that I want to hang and network with. These are real people interested in taking things offline with other real and interesting people. The app itself works well. I had it on beta and they regularly update and improve the experience. Now, I just hope to convince them to make it work on my other phone...a Windows powered Lumia 950. 😀
No issues with it. Seems like most of the people who hate it are men for some reason ...seems like the threshold wall is working.
Not sure why all the hate. It's a great concept and the app runs smoothly. Thankfully my friend bumped me to the top of the wait list and I got in shortly...
I can see the appeal of this app, and if it wasn't for the 180$ price, which is ridiculous unless you're some posh with nothing better to spend money on, it would attract the kind of person (elitist) that's better to not make friends with, or otherwise.
Finally a dating app that does some of the screening for you so you're not "swiping left" endlessly! This is an awesome concept. App interface is elegantly designed and easy to use too!
Can't change pics even if the ones preloaded are not of you. Over priced.

We do require a valid LinkedIn account to be synced so that our Members can be sure profiles are accurate and valid. Additionally, no payment is ever required in order to use our service although there are certain items or a Paid Membership that do give extra perks.
