As many teachers and parents know, learning the concept of fraction can be difficult for many children. Instead of merely presenting a rule, a better way is to use visual models or manipulatives during the study of fraction arithmetic. That way fractions become something concrete to the student, and not just a number on top of another without a meaning. The student will be able to estimate the answer before calculating and evaluate the reasonableness of the final answer. In this game we try to help the students to understand the basic rule: fractions are formed when we have a whole that is divided into so many equal parts with a funny and interactive way. So we believe this is a good teaching resource for teachers in daily work in class, a useful activity for kids to help them in everyday homework and a helping educational tool for parents to help their kids in understanding the fractions.
