Practise the Canadian Citizenship Test on your phone! Questions drawn from Discover Canada, the official study guide published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
The real test is a 20-question written exam administered by a citizenship official at an IRCC office. You have 30 minutes and need at least 15 of 20 correct (75%) to pass. This app turns the study material into quick four-option multiple-choice cards so you can practise on the bus, at lunch, or anywhere you have a spare minute.
NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE GOVERNMENT
This app is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Government of Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), or any provincial or territorial government.

ABOUT THE TEST
The Canadian Citizenship Test is taken by adult applicants for Canadian citizenship as part of the naturalisation process. It is offered in English or French. Questions test knowledge of Canada’s history, geography, government, symbols, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship as set out in Discover Canada (catalogue number Ci1-11/2012E).
This app is a study aid, not a substitute for the official guide. We strongly recommend reading Discover Canada cover to cover at least once before relying on practice apps.

CURRENT-AFFAIRS QUESTIONS
Some questions on the real test depend on current events — the current Prime Minister, your province’s premier, your member of parliament. The app links directly to canonical Government of Canada pages so you always answer with the current name.
