Difficult to see sizes & annoying animation Unlike the PC and printed instructions the app shows no sizes for pieces until you tap on them, which is just annoying. Slow animations especially annoying when stepping back to double check. Useful if used together with PC instructions, as PC does not allow rotation. Otherwise very inferior in use compared to PC.
No problems at all!! This app is great, it works flawlessly on my ASUS MEMO pad 7, and I can clearly see all the pieces. The animations are smooth and a very user friendly way to move the instructions to a different angle for better viewing. I have no idea why others are complaining, I see nothing wrong with this app.
Ok for first attempt Touch and hold to identify parts doesn't work. Animation doesn't fill screen, making it difficult to see many steps. Doesn't stay on the zoomed view during the step animation so often you can not see where parts go and you have to zoom and rotate back again. Contrast makes it difficult to see most parts.
Constantly Crashes on Nexus 9 Dear Lego company. The app crashes every time you want to start seeing a building instruction. That's bad user experience as you need the instructions in order to use the EV3 set. I guess I should have bought an iPad along with the 350 bucks for the Mindstorm EV3 set. Might be my bad.
Does not work on Asus Tablets As with other reviews, this app does not load and fully run on the Asus Transformer Tab. I really expected more of Lego.
Shiny. I wish the instruction manual had all the directions for all versions of all the robots, but this is still great. And it doesn't need internet access either. =)
