The Leica DISTO™ Plan app assists you with the vital task of documenting and visualizing your measurements. Fingers can be used to sketch a floor plan on a smartphone or tablet and corresponding measurements are easily assigned to each line of the plan. This way you can easily plan the next steps of your project.

Sketch Plan — create a scale drawing
Simply use your fingers to create a sketch on your smartphone or tablet. Then take corresponding measurements and assign them to the relevant lines of your sketch. The app’s ‘Auto-Scale’ function automatically adjusts the length of the lines, producing a scaled drawing showing the surface area and circumference. You can now improve the accuracy even further with the Diagonals feature. Producing a CAD-ready floor plan is that easy.

Smart Room — plan while you are measuring
Smart Room makes it possible to create accurate floor plans simply by taking clockwise or counterclockwise measurements of a room. Once all measurements are taken, the app automatically generates the plan. The diagonals feature will further enhance accuracy.

Sketch on Photo — dimension objects in pictures
Leica DISTO™ Bluetooth® technology allows you to assign distance measurements to the appropriate part of a picture taken with your tablet or smartphone. This way you can document all your measurement results and easily process them later in the office.

Measure Plan — create as-build plans for CAD
The Leica DISTO™ app supports P2P technology which makes it possible to create detailed floor or wall plans, including doors and windows. Once complete, simply export your plans as a DXF or DWG file into your preferred CAD solution.

Measure Façade – create detailed wall layouts
Easily generate intricate wall layouts using P2P technology. This feature is designed for measuring 2D plans on vertical surfaces. You define a vertical plane, and the function will automatically project all measured points onto this plane for precision and clarity in your wall layouts. Then simply export your plans as a DXF or DWG file into your preferred CAD program.

Earthworks – determine exact excavation volumes
Thanks to P2P technology you can calculate precise excavation volumes, making it ideal for purposes such as billing and transport cost estimation. Simply measure the outline of the desired excavation and set the depth either by entering a value or by measuring it directly by your DISTO. Function also allows you to define various angles for the slope.

Measure 3D – draw precise 3D plans
Generate accurate 3D plans and seamlessly integrate data into CAD. Leverage the power of P2P technology for real-time 3D measurement visualization directly at the project site. Measurements can be then exported as a DXF or DWG file. Alternatively, you can choose the PDF Pro export with all the detailed information and measurement workflow.

Relocation – add new dimensions to your measurements
Empower your project flexibility with the Relocation function, enabling you to effortlessly shift your setup to a new location while seamlessly integrating essential data into your existing drawing. This feature is invaluable in situations where acquiring all necessary measurements from a single setup isn't feasible.

Exports in standard formats — seamless integration
All measurements and floor plans can be exported as a CAD drawing, JPG or in a PDF format. CAD exports are possible as DXF or DWG format, which allows to seamlessly integrate the measurement data with digitized construction. PDF export detailed reports include all created measurements in easy to read and understandable structure.

Won't pair with my tablet but will pair with a phone. The app sees the device. The tablet sees the device. However, it will not connect no matter what I do. A phone screen is far too small to use for measurements. Unfortunately, this may be a deal breaker and I'll have to go with competitor's product.

ilI have purchased rhe app for£69. I have a Samsung phone and the app wont work on my ipad as there is no sincronisation beteeen the accounts and I need to pay another subscription to be aboe to use it on my IPad. The export mode with all the PRo PDF is shambles and it wont export or convert 3 picture in one pdf even that the option is there and advertised it will only select the first picture or drawing scketch. Customer support is pretty inexistent so dont waste your money.

An app this simple should be free. Especially considering what I already paid for the device. Writing measurements on a photo is easier with my camera app. Sketches are easier to do with pencil and paper. Heck, I can sketch with my camera app too, if I just take a white picture. Exporting would be nice but I can rebuild a model really fast with a real CAD program anyway. Conclusion: This app saves no time at all.
