About this app

LetterMyComic is a complete comic-book lettering studio. Word balloons that
behave like ink, display lettering with real warps, 600+ comic fonts, and
pages that come out print-ready — on a tablet, with a pen, or on any
computer.

WORD BALLOONS THAT BEHAVE LIKE INK
• Speech, thought, shout, burst, whisper, captions and hand-sketched
custom shapes — every balloon carries a pointed tail you aim with a drag
• Drop one balloon onto another and they join automatically, connected by
an open band the way hand-inked dialogue chains have always been drawn
• Balloons auto-fit dialogue as you type; saved styles keep a whole book
consistent

TYPE BUILT FOR COMICS
• 600+ comic fonts plus import for your own
• Per-word bold, italic and underline, automatic comic grammar including
the crossbar-I rule
• Arc and envelope warping, gradient and texture fills, brush edges, glows
• Tuck Back slips sound effects behind the artwork — its magnetic tracer
snaps to the art's own edges

FROM SCRIPT TO PRINTER
• Import a whole comic script and break it into balloons automatically
• Real comic page sizes with bleed and safe-area guides at print resolution
• Auto panel detection reads your drawn pages and lays panel frames over
the gutters it finds
• Export PNG, TIFF, PDF with crop and bleed marks, or CBZ for digital
readers — plus lettering-only transparent overlays

MADE FOR TABLETS AND PENS
• Pen-first: automatic palm rejection, fingertip-size handles, pinch zoom
• Two-page spreads on one live canvas, exactly as the printed book reads

WORK TOGETHER
• Share a book with your letterer or editor, drop numbered comment notes
on any page, and run review passes until it's approved

YOUR PAGES STAY YOURS
• No generative AI: nothing on your page is generated, and your pages are
never used to train anything
• Full-resolution artwork stays on your device; work autosaves as you go

Creating an account is free and opens the full studio in demo mode.
