Needs some fixing! This is the best app I have ever used, but it seriously needs some fixing in order for it to run more smoothly. Firstly, y'all need to bring back the "letters written by penpals" feed. Secondly, y'all need to fix the errors related to the authentication process in creating an autograph profile. The error message pops up even though my device (Samsung Note Edge) supports fingerprint authentication. I have sent y'all several letters informing the same, but nothing was done to fix these issues. Thank you.
Having lettrs is like having a best friend! Can share everything with words. Even if you don't want to tell the world, you still can use it as a personal diary, by saving letters in draft format. This is all you need writers! ♥♥
I'm a writer, so I love love this app... it would get another love if they designed a widget for it... pretty please?? #WidgetsRock Update: I updated the app and then began to have login issues. When I went to the support page, it said I could write a letter OR send an email. My email gets bogged down, so I sent a letter only to be told that I have to send an email. Probably wouldn't have been so annoyed except it was replied with a letter with a Trump sticker. Regardless of how you personally view him, I don't think it's ever a good look to send the face of discrimination in a time when millions around the world are protesting his violation of human rights. It's one thing to make it an option for personal letters, it's another to send it to the masses from your administrative desks especially as an open minded forum.
Excellent Lettrs is an excellent app to express your views and make new friends as penpals. Great concept.
Why this app is too slow??? please fix this issue. It takes about a minute or so to open anything on this app. Really annoying!
Too many egos on this app. It seems like a nice idea: a community where writers--brand new and established--can post content and receive feedback from a like-minded community. From that feedback, each writer can grow. You can make pen pals on here, which is nice for friendly letter writing and for collaboration. However, the glaring downside is the amount of egos and cliques that joined up on this site. You can pour your heart into writing after writing without a single like, whereas one of the verified, popular writers can write "hello" and get 1,000 likes. It's frustrating to be ignored by an entire community if you don't meet their clique requirement when you see the same contributors being fawned after like gods. That doesn't make for a nice environment to harbor growth and acceptance. There is, for the record, even a straight up popularity contest: vote for your lady lettrist if the year as an example...suddenly a bunch of spamming private letters flood your inbox begging you for votes. Again, I like the idea of being in a creative writing group...but all the charm is sucker out when you see that there is a certain group who runs the popularity show whereas the majority of other writers are simply ignored.
