Was previously having issues w/ the update, but aside from one credit card not updating (Barclays card not linking properly) things work as expected. Still getting used to the new design and some of the new functionality... not digging the inability to edit ongoing income. I may have spikes that aren't expected to continue, but Level adjusts forecasted income anyway....
Less than ten minutes into the app and I've set my static monthly income/expenses four times. It hasn't saved properly once; the override feature is purely cosmetic and doesn't do a god damn thing. There are better finance apps out there, and you should use one of those.
I just found out about this app and am starting to see the benefits of it. However it doesn't not see my rent payment under recurring but sees it under trackers. That won't help with my bills part of life.
It actually looked very promising, as far as the type of app im looking for, but the fact that this app is UNUSABLE unless you link your spending accounts, is kinda suspicious. Secure this, encrypted that, is nice for some, but if i wanted to input data manually for say, cash transactions, i wont be able to because i dont have a cash spending account with an app to link it to.
Overall it is a nice app and with some improvements it could be great. 1. It is always about 2 days behind on updating your balance. This can be a problem if you had made a big purchase the day before as you would have to wait another day to see your actual account balance and spendable. 2. It would be nice to have the option to watch payday to payday instead of monthly. This way I know real time what is in the account and what i can spend during that pay cycle. Update with the new update. I was hopeful the 2/17 update would fix some of the concerns myself and other users are having, but looks like it has made things worse. My spendable isn't linking correctly and my updates are still a day behind as most people have mentioned. The information it shows now makes no sense. I am thinking I will likely remove this and find another solution.
Pretty good tool, but requires tinkering sometimes. For example, when reconfiguring the spendable amount (declaring income, expenses, savings), it wiped all my current expenses and when searching for example transactions to re-input expenses, the examples wouldn't show up because they were still tracked as bills. What a mess! However, I just had to add the rest of my expenses and then override the calculated amount to add the remaining expenses.
