Wish app would pull pending transactions so it was actually up to date at all times. Takes days before it shows things a lot of the time
I can see how this app is supposed to work to assist with your budget, and if it actually worked for me I think it would be a great app. The app wasn't sinking with my bank account accurately. It showed an old balance and wouldn't update. On payday when my money shows deposited the app still shows the old balance. I messaged customer support in the app twice and never got a response back. All in all I think the app can be great for those people that it works correctly for, but experience with it hasn't been good.
I wanted to like this app I really did. But I don't get paid regularly and because of that, it makes the monthly spending really in accurate. If there was a setting for weekly income and it updated regularly it would work better, but because I don't get paid the same each month it doesn't help me, just confuses me. I might check back at a later point but right now it's not for me.
Does exactly what it says. Addicting to use, love to keep track of itemisation. I find myself looking forward to transactions so I can see monthly totals. Would highly recommend to ppl on a budget!! Thank you for the app! Update: My bank was taken off the list unfortunately, customer service is very professional, it did take a day to get back to me. Other than that I would definitely recommend this app still.
This is great in idea and the UI as well as UX are awesome! My biggest gripe that kill it for me is the lack of entity support. Big names like Fidelity Investments Bank, Onemain Financial, Alliance Credit Union, will not connect. My thing is this, if the banks I listed don't and won't play nice with this service, remove them from the list. That what Mint does. 3/5 from me until that mild issue is addressed.
I really want to love this app. When it works, it is just what I need to track and limit my spending. I save so much money when I'm aware of what I'm spending. The only problem is that my bank seems to have difficulties connecting to the app, meaning I'm not seeing transactions and my amounts are all incorrect. Customer service has been very helpful, but I just haven't been able to make consistent use of the app. I took 1 star off because the website has been down for maintenance for some a couple weeks, meaning I've had to connect my bank account the hard way: through the app. The website could use a lot of improvements in usability. I would also like to see the ability to add my own transactions so I don't have to rely on my bank's ability to communicate.
