Useful I like this app, its very user friendly and easy to navigate. The one thing I strongly dislike is the fact that it takes FOREVER to refresh and sync. Its been an entire week now that the app hasnt synced with my bank. Its sucks because I need to be budgeting in real time, not a week delayed.... this app is supposed to help me in real time as I spend money and track my spending... I dont know if its the bank I bank with or if its just the app...
Simple and Visually-oriented I color code my trackers to see where my money is going, and can always quickly pull up the app to see if I can buy something I want but don't need. Only bit I don't love is that one of my banks can't connect so it's not a full picture of my finances, but that seems to be on the part of the bank, not Level. Recommend for people who are visually-oriented and want to 'see' their money! :)
Best money tracking app I've used a lot of money tracking apps including Mint, but this one was exactly what I was looking for (a little simpler- I'm not a money expert). It connects to all my accounts, and lets me know day by day how much money I have left to spend. It even tracks how much money I spend at certain places if I want. It helps keep me on track.
Looks great but... Okay. My account has shown up. My problem now is with the bills. I pay most online so they appear as debit transactions, so when I add a recurring bill, it automatically includes everything listed as debit to that bill. PayPal transactions are all lumped together. Every deposit, even transfers are listed as income and then I get depressed because I'm not that rich. The only way is to manually delete those words from every transaction. Very tedious. I like this app otherwise.
Not innovative enough. An app specializing in connecting to banks and monitoring financial status should be on par with the new ideas out there. That's why I was disappointed when I found out that MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is not supported.
Great, until it's not Really useful way to think about spending. The widget provides a front and center reminder to remain disciplined. Seemed almost perfect...until the configuration of my Bills just disappeared last night. Now, I have to do all that setup work again to make the Spendable number meaningful. There has been no reply to my in-app support request. I have to wonder, what other data is being trashed? Can I even trust the Spendable numbers I see?
