Needs voice reading option. Needs option to change rendering for when default doesn't work right. When these 3 features get added, palabre will definitely beat greader (no other rss reader comes close) . As of now, they are probably tied - greader is getting dated and fatally buggy.
Requiring users to pay for a black theme is bad business. It obviously saves a significant amount of power on AMOLED devices and I won't use apps that don't offer it, especially if there's a viable alternative that does, which in this case there is. I definitely won't use or recommend this app to anyone else. Considering charging for advanced features that aren't imho a necessity.
The nicest looking RSS reader I have found to date. It has a few bugs in the refresh logic that don't seem like they're going to be addressed, but I have learned to work around them.
Can I give more than a 5 star review. Oh my goodness. I have been searching and tinkering with so many devises and programs trying to create what this app does. I have finally found my solution. I have a wide variety of interests. The problem is, how do I explore topics without getting bogged down with the sheer volume of information being thrown at me? Solution? This app. I added each one of my YouTube subscriptions and other sites as RSS feeds into feedly and organized them by genre. I then added them onto this app and added a widget to my homescreen. Perfect organization. This also has a widget that lets you view your feed based off of your twitter lists! No other app I could find did this. On top of that, the widget has images! Just absolutely exactly what I was looking for. So far, it is smooth and functioning well for me. I'm sure it does even more than I have discovered. This app is awesome.
Update 27.10.17: Beware, still no offline mode. False advertising. This app is useless. It just looks nice. Palabre DOES NOT save articles for offline reading. The one and only feature I expect from a rss reader...
I like the app but it seems to be quite unstable. Only app that manages to completely crash my phone on a regular basis. No updates for quite a while.. Edit: seems abandoned, still crashing on a regular basis
