Great content, app is still new Love the content and shows so far! The app needs a little work. Streaming on anything other than great WiFi is glitchy. Often it skips back and repeats portions. It also does not seem to buffer at all so there can be long and frequent pauses. Being able to download for later offline viewing would be great. I like the idea another reviewer mentioned of an audio only option as well.
Love the content so far, but... It would be great if you could offer an audio only option. I enjoy listening (and learning) while doing various chores around the house and with the video running, there's a huge battery drain. Also, streaming is a bit glitchy at times. A download option would also be great to listen while taking the kids to and from school and running other errands.
Love, love, love the content but but but... I can't enjoy it. Internet is unavailable at our rural home so must sit and watch the shows while in town. 1. I can't download for later viewing. 2. I can't do anything else on the device while this runs in the background so no multitasking. 3. No audio only option so even if I choose to expend mobile data for a show it requires many times the throughput than my data budget allows.
A true pioneer! Amazing set, video quality, & programming. I would love a way to download on wifi and watch offline like the Kindle Fires / Netflix do now. If not an ability to lower (extremely) the quality to save on data or get an audio only version for the car. Also bookmarks in the video so I can skip to the next topic if desired, or to tell where I left off.
It's overall a great idea. I downloaded it to listen to louder with Crowder and it does just that. However, the biggest issue with the app its self is that it does not support background play. I often listen while cooking or driving and need to use my phone for different things. If that were to be implemented it would be much more useful.
Great content, horrible app The app is pretty simple, there's not much to it, but I usually listen to these shows on the go. So not only would it be nice if you could download the episode for later, but not being able to lock your phone to listen to it while it's in your pocket is extremely annoying and makes it almost useless for me. In fact, the mobile site in your browser works better than this. This is actually pointless.
