Easily access Lexidrug content directly in the app without needing to download databases onto your device. Our mobile packages are designed to support a variety of roles, offering quick access to expert content and capabilities, including:

• Ability to store database content for offline use

New individual users will receive a 14-day free trial to the UpToDate Lexidrug Hospital Pharmacist package. At the end of the free trial, users will automatically be billed a subscription fee of $29.99 per month via their Google Play account for continuing access. To avoid being charged, users must cancel their free trial at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period. Users can manage settings, cancel subscriptions, or turn off auto-renewal anytime during the subscription period via Google Play Subscription Settings.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Ratings and reviews

Uuuuuugh! Why did they mess with it!? Before the last update (just a few days ago) it was a user-friendly layout and easily accessible....now it seems archaic in comparison. Way more cumbersome to use. In addition, keeps telling me all my subscriptions are expired every time I log in, yet on the next page saying it's all in date. Slow to load, too. This is EXTREMELY frustrating, especially since I pay a LOT for this product and rely on it every day for quick, accurate, up to date info.

WHY do they keep messing with this app and making it worse! With the latest version, they changed the UI so that now the DRUG library is no longer on the main screen. The very library you need 90%+ when using the app! What genius thought that was a great idea? Fire them! It takes so much longer to look up drug info now; some of us work in areas where it's necessary to be as fast and efficient as possible (hint: critical care Lexicomp!). Might as well use Epocrates over Lexi-incompetent now

4/17/25 - With the most recent major update the app has become substantially less user friendly. The new layout/UI is worse than prior. The database change with offline/online has caused major slow down to functionality. Loading of information/data takes substantially longer and despite having all databases downloaded I have had issues accessing. This has been the sole application on my phone for drug databases for almost 15 years, and I hope it can continue to maintain proper functionality.

What’s new

• Database content pulled live with internet connection (Wi-Fi or data)
• Links to History and Bookmarks on Home screen
• Library icon removed. This is replaced by “Databases” screen found in the main hamburger menu
• Download content to use Lexidrug offline. Databases are still available to use offline and can be downloaded via the Offline Databases screen
• Updated Search engine
• Updated Autocomplete results – now includes improved search suggestions and history
• Ability to “pin" databases
