Ratings and reviews

App takes up to an hour or longer to send a notification or even update someone's location. This isn't just a single phone, location, permission, or Wi-Fi not being turned on issue. Several of my friends that use the app (we all have different phones, 9 different models/brands in total, on Verizon, Google Fi, and AT&T) are having the issue. Google maps implemented constant location sharing so we all started using that also. Works great.

It's a good idea. First of all, whenever it detects you're in a car it switches into driving mode immediately, which means it's counting if you're on your phone and whatnot. Secondly, it takes up a lot of space on my phone (which I don't have the best phone right now, but still) and it drains my battery. Third it messes up my top speed. This week it says I was going 181 mph. 🤦‍♀️. There are a couple other little things like that. If it worked properly, it would be a good app.

Annoying. Frequent, inescapable notifications. Poor ability to customize notifications how I want. The overall functionality is fine, but the app pesters you to turn on every permission and notification to constantly bombard you. I really don't need to be notified every time she drives, and I should not need to turn off battery optimization to satisfy the apps need to track me. The lack of customization is one thing, but the aggressive nature the app pushes for permissions is disturbing.
