Relax on Lake Ladoga and save the northern nature from forest fires.
Every year, up to 10 forest fires caused by tourist bonfires occur on the islands and coast of the Ladoga skerries. Take your Bot with you on a hike and help save the fragile northern nature of Karelia from fire!
TRAVEL SAFELY IN THE LADOGA SKERIES
Promptly call for help in an emergency using the duty phones of the Ladoga Skerries National Park and volunteer firefighters.
Check your location on the map of Ladoga Skerries, where protected and specially protected areas of the national park are marked - this will help you avoid fines for illegal camping.
Check the rules for making tourist fires on the territory of the Ladoga Skerries - let your fire be the safest.
Take part in a survey of tourists together with the research seal Ladozhka! Your answers will help develop a fire safety plan for the Ladoga Skerries National Park.
The “Bot-to-Hike” project is being implemented by the Landscape Fire Prevention Center with the support of the “Beautiful Children in a Beautiful World” charity foundation.
