Get pricing and reviews upfront before you book. Enter your service details and add photos of the service you wish. You can locate the providers in the map view or on the list view. Read their reviews and biography and request a specific provider or the closest to you. You can either book provider on demand, or book for a later time or day.

Once you request, you are immediately connected to your service provider. You can track and communicate with the provider throughout the service and track their ETA as the arrive. The timer doesn't start until the provider is ready. He or she can pause the service at any time to grab parts or get gas. Once your service is completed to your satisfaction you can sign the invoice and easily pay securely with credit card. You may dispute the service if you are unsatisfied. Review your providers and the app on the appstores, and refer your friends to get rewarded and get discounts.

I love how convenient this app is. Its.a great idea! You can track your provider and choose who you want to book with or you can just pick a date that works for you. I have had nothing but great, professional service with this app. I highly recommend Lightning! It's so simple to use!

It's great if you want to hire illegal workers to come mess up your house's electrical. If you want to find someone to fix something, either open a phone book or just Google it. There's no need for an app for this, and even if there were this is not a good implementation.

We are adding areas and providers everyday. We are now in 40 of the largest metro areas throughout the world. You can use Google, however, Google doesn't offer the many features and benefits the app offers.

We have used the Lightning app twice now for electrical work. It's a fantastic app and I really hope that more people find out about it so that it takes off! We had some lights go out in our basement, and kept meaning to schedule an appointment with an electrician. Especially around the holidays, it was so hard to find time to make an appointment. I read reviews on Murphy Family Services and saw that people love their company. When I called, they requested that I book using their app. It would come out cheaper, and they're trying to get this new app off the ground. It worked beautifully. By the time I spoke to my husband a few hours later and he asked if I had gotten in touch with the electrician, the lights were already fixed! No need to book a week in advance and then sit around for hours hoping a tech shows up. Just like with Uber, it shows you who's in the area, gives you an estimated arrival time, and somebody is at your door within about a half hour. Both electricians that worked with us were professional and courteous, quickly got their jobs done, and even went out of their way to do extra work that I had not specified when first booking the appointment. Amazing!

We hope so too, since it's so much easier to get services, and offers many more features using mobile technologies, like real time tracking, in app messaging, etc, as well as peak times, off hours and weekends as you mention for on demand services and emergencies, with no additional surge pricing fees.

Onboarding certainly is a current topic. We are considering more ways to improve this, and appreciate your feedback. It's important the terms of service is accepted first before using the app at, as well as removing friction in a transaction process. We hope that as more people use it and trust it the registration process will feel easier.

Added Live Chat for 24/7 support for providers. Added bank account setup so that providers can add their bank for fast direct deposit payments. Added calendar setup and improvements, so that providers can add their schedule for available times and to be booked later.
