So glad this exists now! Would be cool if there was some indication when it was refreshing. Now, when I open the app it still shows the bus in the position when I had it last open, and is confusing unless I know.
A Must Have App For All Lincolnites! I use this every day to see which side of the loop to wait on after dropping kids off at school. Lets me avoid a mix up, and I catch my bus every time :) I don't need schedule info in the app, I have the schedules bookmarked on my browser. It is nice to be able to pull up any bus route while I am walking, and make sure I intersect with the bus. I walk everywhere, and sometimes I get tired and easily finding a nearby route is a great help. No more calls to the crabby Star Tran lady to answer my stupid questions :D
App refuses to work with my gps, cannot find location Missed several buses , doesn't show all stops, cannot locate any bus stop
Awesome! This is exactly what I needed. Being new to the city of Lincoln, the printed bus schedules leave much to be desired. They just don't provide enough info to know when the bus will arrive in my area. With this app - which I used for the first time today, I not only can see my normal bus route, but any within walking distance - which gives me so may more options. I'm not longer limited to one bus per hour, Thank you Startran! Just needs a few UI/UX updates to rate 5 stars.
Thank you Great app. Came to complain about the lack of time tables and I see your working on it, great news. Can't wait for the schedules!
Awesome! Really helpful for catching the next bus at any stop! You can see the ETA of the bus in real time using data fetched from the bus gps. Really helpful!
This release is primarily an update to the newest Google libraries and to work around issues with several new phones. I are still working on providing the static bus schedules, but it is taking longer than originally expected and I apologize for the delay.
- Updated to newest release of Google Maps API
- Bug Fix: New map bubbles for extremely high resolution devices (like the Samsung Galaxy S4) to work around a Google Maps bug
