Memory problem I keep getting insufficient memory error no matter what model I use or if I shut down all apps, even try rebooting on my Nexus 6.
Doesn't open SketchUp Pro 14 files..... Have to save down to an older version. Huge pain.
Force close/crash Can't load my files on this app on both my note 3 and note 10.1 2014
Wow! This is actually pretty incredible. I'm an architect using a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, and the performance is very fluid and smooth. Simply being able to view SketchUp models on a tablet will change the way we present to our clients and work with other professionals on the job site. I'm excited for the future of this software. I haven't experimented with the augmented reality feature yet, but it looks promising. One minor issue I am having is toggling the hidden line work on and off. (The lines that were soften/smoothed in SketchUp now appear in the app viewer.) I can turn all the edge lines on or off, but there doesn't seem to be a way to hide just the lines on a "curved" face, for example. Otherwise, incredible app. Worth the purchase.
ok, won't load large files Can load smaller files 7mb and lower, most of my files are larger than that. Just sits on the loading screen forever with larger files never finishing. Smaller files pan and orbit pretty choppy. Running on Galaxy note 12...limitless computing telling me it can load larger files doesn't fix the problem. Have not been contacted with a fix for months. Waste of money.
A good start - bring on the upgrades. I'm running the app on a brand new 10.1 Galaxy Note 2014 in kitkat 4.4 The render quality isn't identical to the native application and the line weights aren't rendering, nor are any shadows and only a few of the textures. Textures seem to render in something other than RGB as there's some significant color shifting from what you see on the desktop. This is not suitable for presentation models at this point, probably better for process ideation and visualization. I'm looking forward to some significant upgrades to bring the quality in line with the native SketchUp render. I'd also like to see the SketchUp tabs supported to address specific views or features from the native file.
