I like the content and would be happy to rate higher, but I always have problems playing through my car's Bluetooth. The app won't play through the speakers until I play another app (e.g., Amazon music) and then I can hear the content, but it's being played at the same time as the music. If I pause the music, the Spanish audio cuts too. Very odd. I don't have this issue with any other app. I hope it can be fixed. I'd be happy to up my rating if it is.
I am really loving the clear crisp speach as the news is read. I only understand a portion of what I hear at this point but this really makes it a lot easier to grasp word breaks. The more I listen, the more I can grasp. Wonderful service and we'll worth the small investment. Works great with my Bluetooth earbuds.
Very useful for anyone wanting to be exposed to a wide range of spanish vocabulary as well as the construction of phrases. In addition, the stories are recent and therefore relevant.
I've been trying out the free version a little bit to make sure I actually use the app before buying it. All of a sudden the highlighted test no longer shows the translations. Is this just in the free version or a problem with the paid app too? Wary to buy now.
The content is excellent but the app often hangs up and quits working. There's still lots of bugs in the app.
I am a subscriber, and I like the concept and execution. However, in the app version, the colored text can't be clicked for an instant pop-up of the translation. I think the instant translations of the colored words and phrases is half the program and is really needed in the app version. The mobile version of the website allows text translation popups, but the player controls don't stay locked to top of the screen. You have to scroll up to pause, rewind, etc. the audio.
