Beautifully made. This game deserves the acclaim it received, and I have only one complaint: Audio can't be disabled, which isn't a problem as the game's audio is fantastic, but I can't listen to a podcast while playing the game. All in all it's a game that is going to stay on my phone for a long time.
This is easily one of my favorite games. Like many others, the more I play this, the more I become an arsonist. However, there's this strange lag issue I've been having on my G4. The game generally runs at a buttery 60 fps, but when the fireplace fills up, it lags and the lag doesn't go away even after the fire burns (looks like 15 fps, even in the catalog), forcing me to restart just to fix it. I know it's an old game, but I'd really appreciate if the devs looked into this.
The game is beautifully animated and there is a strange joy in watching the items realistically burn in the fireplace. Lots of the items burn in humorous ways too. Once you've burned everything, the game gives you a lecture to turn off your phone and go play outside.
Totally worth 2 bucks. I'm usually reluctant to buy games, because so many games in the store today are the same old garbage. I took a chance on this one, and man, am I glad I did. It's such a refreshing change of pace. I'm already on my second playthrough, looking for an alternate ending. I will very likely play a third time, just to find all the combos. Super addictive, and relaxing. There's very little point, but there is a real progression and story. I highly recommend it!
No immersive full screen. Closing app crashes app. For phones with on screen navigation buttons this game should go full screen over the buttons using immersive mode. When I close the app, Android tells me the app has stopped (crashed).
guess I'm going against the grain here, but this is barely enjoyable at best. great graphics, no glitches in gameplay - just boring. waiting for those damn boxes to be openable is painful. buying fast shipping is extra steps that add nothing. I'm not even sure what this game would be classified as. beautifully boring maybe. the $5 seems a little steep, but maybe not considering some of these reviews.
This version has some behind-the-scenes performance improvements and fixes for Android N!
