About this app
Whether you are looking for a new club to try out with friends, or you simply want to know if you should go to your local bar on a Friday night, LitCheck it. Our proprietary litness algorithm provides a percentage score based on other user’s behavior that will serve as an accurate measure of the venue’s litness. Now you have the power to know whether IT’S LIT before leaving the comfort of your home!
RATE THE LITNESS
Report the litness of a venue using a quick and simple drop-down tool that will appear once you are inside. You will receive notifications while inside the venue inviting you to rate the litness on a scale from 1-10 using the app. Your rating will then be used to help generate a litness score for the venue in real time.
POINT SYSTEM
Earn points for going out, inviting friends, and rating the litness of bars! Compare points with your friends using our Global Leaderboard so you can see who really likes to get LIT. Create a unique username to preserve your anonymity or to make a statement about yourself. Share the app with friends and earn points together at each place you go. Be sure to rate the litness of each venue you visit to maximize the amount of points earned and help other users to live a little!
LOCATION SERVICES
When you sign up for LitCheck we ask for permission to access your location. The more permission you give us the more accurate our litness scores will be for you, so we encourage users to give the app ‘Always On’ permission. Your location will be anonymous at all times and will only be used to calculate a litness score for a venue. If you wish to change the permissions of the app for any reason, you may do so through the settings on your device.
