For use with Livescribe 3 smartpens and the all new Aegir series smartpens.
Livescribe+ is the companion to the Livescribe 3 and the new Aegir series smartpens. It has been designed to quickly make your notes more useful by integrating them with your daily activities:
- Notes, sketches, diagrams and drawings created with your Livescribe smartpens show up instantly on your smartphone or tablet
- Find what you need quickly with incredibly accurate handwriting search
- Convert your handwritten notes to text and use them in any doc or app
- Link your OneNote / Evernote / Google Drive / Dropbox accounts to send your notes automatically
- Record and play back audio that synced to your handwriting
- Flexible sharing options to share your notes in the format you need – PDF, TXT, PNG, DOCX & SVG.
If you use Livescribe+ on more than one device, the built-in memory on your Livescribe smartpens allows you to sync your notes seamlessly across multiple devices. Any Livescribe 3 can be paired with up to four different smartphones or tablets and Aegir can be paired with up to three different smartphones or tablets.

This Livescribe 3 pen, and this app are both trash, and I'm pissed. The app begins recording, but stops capturing audio when the screen turns off. Pretty useless for class. The support site shows evidence of this being a known issue, but there's no solution. The supposed solution is to completely turn off your screen lock. Well I did that, and my entire class of 3 hours is silent. I can't believe I can't even return this garbage because of the return period of the place where purchased.

Update: desktop App has been updated, now mobile?? // Wish supplier would do app updates!! Tech is great, app is mostly same functionally since i started. I've used the app over 2 pen purchases in 10 yrs. Pens handwriting recognition is best I've seen. But cross device support / modernisation of app to include highlight / Bold / Italics would keep this product in top tier. Still highly valuable productivity tool!! But with a little app work would be amazing. Like they've lost the source code ?!

This app is useless. The pen only writes, but does not save it in the pen. This is just like written with a normal pen, the phone can record without the symphony pen. The app shuts down on its own or sometimes it does not record when the pen has been showing as recording.
