I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and this app won't connect with the Livescribe 3 pen. I get a notification to pair Bluetooth with the Livescribe 3 Pen but the pen never successfully connects with my phone. I've tried using the Livescribe help support for over an hour last night with no success. They are sending me a new pen in the mail now.
The app seems to be quite functional and perform the tasks that it's currently (as of writing) noted as supporting and does those very well, particularly the cursive handwriting recognition (yes, you blew me away with that). No, it's not as feature rich as the iOS app but that's had years of work put into it that Android has to catch up on. Recent update (Aug 2017) significantly improved issues with this app, now pairs with the pen first time every time and also has improved note send to third party services such as Evernote and Onenote along with many other small improvements.
Not sure why all the hate?? Been using my Livescribe 3 pen with my Galaxy Note 4 and Nexus 7" tablet, for over a year and it is great. Now they finally have autosync with Evernote and/or OneNote on Android, and I'm even more happier.
Unable to sync with both online cloud providers (Evernote/OneNote). I have used this product on IOS without any issues, Are Livescribe to Apple bias..
Better. Evernote auto sync works. But on Evernote cannot sort by page, so sorting alphabetically means page 1 followed by page 10 etc! Arrrgggh! Surely you guys could have thought of that?
Horrible and completely unrelable!!
