How many colors are in your fingertips?
The Chromovores know them all, and they’re hungry! Feed them by tapping near them with your fingertips. If you want to increase the number, feed them until they are cloning.
By choosing the times, number and length of each split, you can create an ever-changing series of numbers and contrasting colors. Thanks to the algorithm that decides the color of each clone, you’ll always see new colors and combinations, with little likelihood of clashing.
The larger surface area of the tablets makes interaction and visualization easier, but some internal parameters are automatically calibrated to ensure optimal results even on the smallest devices. Changes to other parameters, such as number of shapes, dominant colors, etc., are handled during the normal interaction with the game, eliminating the need for tiresome settings panels.
Chromovores was born as a simple experiment with the intention of producing a more complex game, but it has already proven itself a pleasant pastime. Its autonomous evolution of states, and its highly intuitive interaction model, even lets you use it as a relaxing chromatic aquarium.
