CONTEXT AWARE
Perform recurring tasks based on the time of day, your location (geofencing), physical activity, heart rate, steps taken, events in your calendar, app currently open, connected Wi-Fi network, remaining battery, and hundreds of other conditions and triggers.

This app uses the Accessibility API to provide features that interact with the UI, intercept key presses, take screenshots, read “toast” messages, determine foreground app and capture fingerprint gestures.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission to provide features that check for failed login attempts and engage screen lock.

Ratings and reviews

Interesting, powerful app that takes time to learn. Its not perfect, nothing is (wish the docs to be a bit more beginner friendly, with more examples for each block/paragraph), but its the best free automation app i found. I think such automation apps are great for those wanting to delve into real world programming. Also for those fans of DIY or if you can't find an app to do what you need in the store. Or you're simply paranoid to download apps from strangers when you can make them yourself :)

It seems to be a very flexible programming app, but for some reasons, the WiFi Hotspot On/Off module doesn't work on my phone (Java error). Ability to turn WiFi Hotspot On/Off based on a condition was the primary reason why I needed to install Automate. Luckily, I found another app - MacroDroid, which is able to do the same task no problem!

Writing my review again (I don't find it anymore, I wanted to correct what I wrote because it wasn't clear enough) I'm putting 4 stars because of how tedious it is to move blocks around. It would be nice to be able to analyse the screen (like validating if a new page/app was open after using an interac block or things like that) I don't know if it is already supported and if so I'd be really happy to learn how. All and all it is a really great app. I've purchased the license. Totally worth it.
