It's not bad as compared to other driving apps I've used, but I am disappointed. When driving my daily driver I was scoring Excellent in all categories. I take one 60 mile trip in my classic car and the braking score drops to Good. I had plenty of time to slow down on the highway to pull into a parking lot and got dinged for hard breaking. Now I go back to the daily driver, get all around Excellent scores again but I'm still stuck at Good. The scoring seems to be a bit harsh to me.

RightTrack relies on your location services. If you live somewhere where your location is inconsistent (or have to stop basically ever) the tracker is worthless and you'll get the minimum discount. It would probably be more useful if it tracked something that actually affected your driving performance, like phone usage. Especially since your discount can go down if you don't "perform" well, enjoy a nice price hike. And that's if the service calculates your rate right; it doesn't disclose at all.

The app can't tell the difference between an event (hard breaking or rapid acceleration) and picking up your phone while stopped in a parking lot. I called to get the events removed, but they won't. In all 3 situations, I started driving, realized my Bluetooth wasn't connected to my radio, stopped my vehicle, picked up my phone to connect Bluetooth, put my phone back down and started driving again. None of the information on the app warned you this could happen.
